So, do we know whose key they have?
IIRC, a Key can be “split up” among many (or maybe used to “imprint” people, what do I know?), and all these have the same color.
They don’t *all* have the same color. Slit-face, the blue guy, and the four-legged woman’s Keys are all red, which previous panels have established as a sign of Incubus’ power-addicts. 000001, Steve Harvey, and Smug-Face all have orange keys, which I think is a combination of shared power from Mottom’s and Mammon’s keys.
Key:
Gold mask lion devil dude: Praman Nand, Lord of Hell 71 and Guild Master of the Golden Pearl Pleasure Guild. Sent the 108 pursuers after Allison.
Golden throne dude: Preem Vash, member of Golden Pearl Pleasure Guild, and general-purpose kingpin gangster.
Orange coat dudes: Emissaries of Mottom, probably larping as admirals and/or generals. Their key fragments might not mean anything because they’re red like Maya’s (possibly inactive?) but they’re probably powerful anyways.
Stalk Eye dude, four leg girl, blue guy: unknown. The two throne riders are probably both involved with some guilds in line with Vash being a throne rider as well, but the stalk eye dude’s clothing is just off color enough to be ambiguous as to if he’s directly involved with Mottom’s empire or not.
Flaming halberd lady: head nun of Mammon’s cult, and Emissary of Mammon. We’ve seen her go toe to toe with Mottom, albeit probably juiced up on Mammon’s power.
Old lady on the far right: undoubtedly some random accountant-witch-thing in line with Mammon’s cult. Or maybe just an accountant.
I will keep commenting until i get permission. I really wanna run a stream in this setting, but i wanna get the authors permission to do so. if anyone sees this, please bump it. Im a huge fan, and i wanna make some direct references to the events in this, but i dont wanna cross any boundaries.
Why are most people saying four legged lady is a devil? They could be some type of Servant (everything that’s isn’t human or human-descended, a devil, or an angel), devils don’t usually have the atum flame thing.
Also, WAAAYYY back when, Abbadon said that Praman Nand is actually one of those gate guardian things possessed by a devil, he never did explain how that works, and we’ve seen other unconventional devils.
I can’t imagine these nerds are back for any reason but to illustrate the power gap between Book 1 Allison and Al-Yisun. Preem Nand was scary to a terrified college student, but not to a nascent god-king.
I wonder who took out Vigilant Gaze with vacus needles? Aside from 000001 and Praman Nand, most of these guys aren’t really fighters. Surprising that they don’t have an angel with them.
I wonder where the 100+ pursuers (what’s left of them at least) are? they must be very capable if they stopped fighting each other long ago and survived the battle royale phase of the tournament.
