Such madness! Such dedication to a crumbling and self destructive order and to perpetually keep the cycle going with an heiress. She is truly a tyrant after this fool’s cold burning heart why she almost reminds of my dear deceased condesce.
Has anybody realized that Cio is balancing on the mast of something? There’s a big orange sail that wasn’t there before. I think she might have hijacked an airship or something. It might even have White Chain on it.
Huh.
Mottom’s not even mad, apparently. She had her little BSOD, rebooted, and remembered that there are plenty of other people out there who’re immortal without her little fruit.
This is purely stoic self serving assholitry. She ain’t there out of anger.
She there ’cause she’s still planning to turn Al-Yis-Un into her replacement.
Praise the return of the professional fanfiction writer. Question is, does Cio retain enough mastery of the Art from her days as an Ebon to defeat one of the Seven even as a Blue Devil.
And, is it just me, or does Nadia appear to be much aged even from the previous offering or is her natural hair colour deceiving me?
She does not defeat, that is the hero’s job. She is not the mentor because they always die. She is there to facilitate with flair and comic relief. (the funny one always lives in the end) I bet that the real rescue will be found on the sky boat as it continues to rise. Allison will, of course, subvert this and do things her own way. This is great because Cio is so entertaining when she is frustrated.

She is what she is because she was masked and then named (by someone) to be what she is, and it has been said that someone on the scene has an identity or talent or purpose as a “wielder of names”.
“And he will be flanked by a white and a black flame. His coming will be followed by 108 burning stars. He will bear the terrible heat of the voice in his brow, the mark of his lordliness. He will face the beast- and he will annihilate it. He will wield the terrible blade of want, and the pillars of heaven will quake with his coming. And his name will be Kill Six Billion Demons.”
One would think, during those countless eons, that Mottom would have been looking for an alternative method of prolonging her life. That this would have been a preoccupation all along.
Maybe then, the Tree would have required fewer brides.
That’s the result of fear and abuse for you — Mottom was so convinced that she knew how the world worked, was so set in her paradigm and so afraid to exist outside it, that even when she ruled literally one-seventh of all reality, she was in turn ruled over by her husband’s literal immobile corpse.
It’s always satisfying to see the mighty brought low. The appearance of their faces as their false notions of divinity vanish are amusing. If Nadia had simply looked for immortality and knew the true nature of royalty she wouldn’t be having these problems.

Ancient Demiurge Wisdom: “FORGET ABOUT THAT SHIT, HERE COMES CIO!”
THERE SHE IS!!!!!!
Has anybody realized that Cio is balancing on the mast of something? There’s a big orange sail that wasn’t there before. I think she might have hijacked an airship or something. It might even have White Chain on it.
Kind of hoping it has Oscar on it, muskets cocked and ready 😀
…Did she just call her a “Turd Blossom”?
Perhaps she is planning to challenge Om to a dance-off?
The alt text. Did she just call her a dumb blonde?
Attempting to parse the Black Speech:
Fetid Lumpen-Blossom: Blue Waffle?
Flaxen-brained: Literally straw for brains, but a reference to dumb blonde stereotypes
Soggy Fop-Moppin: Whorishly obsequious Trophy wife
SHE’S BACK 😀
Huh.

Das some interesting self control, though.
The flame that burns a cool blue is far hotter than that of its warm orange counterpart.
She’s quite mad actually.
Just in a different sense of the word.
M’thinks the hatter needs her hat, then.

And now we come full circle. Mother Om has become Hasset Om.
I wonder if she ever suspected during her years of abuse that she would one day inflict the same on another.
Behold, the Oroboros. The serpent that devours its own tail. Symbol of Eternity, Immortality. Endless Recursion.
It is no wonder, that the ageless come full circle.
Demons oft appear precisely when angels leave.
Some of us are not so lucky.
Perhaps Alison should take the opportunity provided by Cio to tend to her own wounds, losing ones blood is most unbecoming for a KING.
Moar Mottom side-boob!
I’m just curious which Demiurge Cio stole a key from. Probably not this one.
There were 777,777 of them. One must have gotten sloppy.
Cio looks like she’s boxing above her weight class here, but as dramatic entrances go, that was pretty smooth.
Damn. Alison looks like she takes a size 16 shoe, so does Nadia for that matter. Maybe that’s why she goes barefoot all the time…
Nadia, dear, did you forget the nature of royalty or did you never learn it in the first place? Royalty always has a choice.
It would appear our dear demiurge has made the same grave mistake as Aesma.
I doubt it will turn out any better for her.

Truly, there is no greater Sin than the lack of Want.
Complacency = Stasis = death
True Royalty is forged in ambition.
How much you want to bet that Cio just painted her black mask blue, and is secretly a black level devil.
How much do you want to bet that Cio merely spread rumors that the thief was an Ebon Devik to keep the heat off?
Blue devils are said to be the craftiest, despite their physical weakness.
Not much, but I’ll betcha she’ll go up a few ranks before the end.

It is difficult for an angel to be exsanguinated.
It has only happened to me a handful of times.
Tears of molten fire, Have you had the displeasure of crying to death? I ask with all sympathy.
remember
flesh is illusion
and blood is lie
Long time no see, Cio! And I fear this may be the last. :O
