WHEEL SMASHING LORD 4-126
Chapter: 4
“That’s the thing about trash. Ya compact it enough, it’s gonna grow into a rock solid brick, and that bricks’ gonna get set on fire and thrown through your shrakking window.”
-Yngi, Goblin Underboss

Really seems all they have left is their inflated egos, and boy is that hot air leaking out quickly.
Not very diplomatic, Praman Nand.
Even so, they DID manage to capture a golden devil and an angel!
Ooh, self burn!
Those are rare!
That just means that you were married to trash and have trash taste tho, you just dissed yourself
Abaddon, You did this because they look cool. We’re talking Tite Kubo levels of drip from some of these. We love you for it.
Royalty is a continuous complaining about your designs being too wicked to draw motion
“Small, broken things” bro any single person in front of you could eat you for lunch
“Why did I inflict all these character designs on myself lol”
Well, there’s one quick, surefire remedy for that
Maybe!
Probably should have cratered Omun Vash’s face instead of letting him go again, huh… oh well, plenty of time. Shame 001 seems to have fallen in line, I thought she was one of the more interesting Emissaries.
Do you know what else gathers together, you overgrown infernal housepet?
YOUR PAL GOG-AGOG!
This negotiation is going WAY better than I had envisaged.
…
…
When are we gonna get back to the anime-kungfu violence?
I mean, how long until the rampaging giant with access to an infinite supply of swords breaks out of his bubble?
“It is the nature of small, broken things to gather together.”
He says, standing behind a group of jumped up bankers and functionaries, themselves under the auspice of the king of small, broken people.
This is what i’m saying. man is tellin on himself and i hope Alison lets him know. I’d hate for anyone to die ignorant.
Looking forward to Nukoku going all out on someone who isn’t invulnerable.
“Listen up liberals. My wife left me.”
What a curious way to ask Allison to grant him another sixteen names.
WIELDER OF NAMES
I appreciate the nun’s choice to do a massive, showy wind-up just to cut some bindings. Theatrical, that one.
It’s cool, the ladies could use the warm-up
he knows… he knows he’s in a group of his own, right? Is someone gonna tell him before he dies from his own hubris? I feel like he should know he telling on himself before he dies. but that’s me
These guys seem way dumber than I remember. No one in their right mind would be starting a fight on the eve of Jagganoths return. Especially the nun, seems out of character for her. Hopefully we get some clarity on this but with the pacing now at maximum speed I am not sure we will.
Agreed. The nun with the abacus should be able to do the math, even if nobody else can.
Incubus turns people into Emissaries by messing with their heads. We saw him do this to Allison and she immediately made a bunch of terrible decisions. None of these guys are in their right mind.
They’re going to get cut three ways: high, low, and frequent.
“It is, after all, the tendency of small broken things to gather together.”
Allison: “Is this why you showed up as a group?”
Also, really curious about 001’s motivations here. She genuinely cared for Mammon or at least the life he provided. And Jagganoth, her boss’s boss killed him. So why does she side with Incubus?
awful sinking feeling Allison isn’t going to kill these guys. like she’s gonna spare them to show off her emotional maturity or whatever
Dude is mad he got cucked
okay, i don’t really know how much time it took for me, i just wanna say… i am UP TO DATE with this 11+ year old beautiful story.
it was such a great ride, even seeing Abaddon’s drawing improve over the years, it starded quite subpar, to be honest (whilst his scene-building and character designs and VISUAL WORLD BUILDING were astonishing from the very first moment), and yet it complemented his beautiful story so well and better day by day.
i love this work. it manages to be clever: even if it draws inspirations from many sources, the author’s does so in a very honest way, the way of the passionate fan that doesn’t try to hid what he loves but tributes and builds on it. nothing is really seen for the first time in K6BD, and yet it stays fresh and beautiful. the lore, mythology, world-building and characters are so easy to love and appreciate; from a storyteller’s point of view, it amazes THE HUGE SCOPE the story has and yet how easily it gets told: this is the mark of a real good storyteller.
i also love how the characters are believable, see: a female protagonist which is not a “strong-independent-woman-woke-product” but just an ordinary girl in exceptional circumstances that slowly grows into the incredible leader she is now, the many secondary characters who fucking ransom ALL OF YOUR LOVE for themselves. change and growth is really one of the most felt leitmotiv’s of this work. and even the love stories, even the lgbtqia ones, don’t feel shoehorned but just… believable, without virtue signaling shit or whatever. they just work, because the characters work and their love is justified.
thank you Abaddon for this story. i will most definitely buy the Image physical copy (even if i’d like a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig hard cover edition, instead of just a trade paperbacks), even if it’s already old-ish: given that up to now there are only the first 4 books published.
i will miss reading all the “alt” comments to the image tags, and the huge landscape shots in a smaller 2-page spread.
i just wanna say i am so happy of having discovered some time ago on a reddit page or facebook post (don’t really remember) the image from the Jagganoth flashback with him sitting on the huge pile of bodies that got me saying to myself “what the fuck is this? and why i am so fucking drawn to it? i wanna know where this comes from”, and some random dude in the comments probably said “Kill Six Billion Demons” and i thought: “this cannot be the title of the ork, right? this must be some kind of comically stretched out, in-lore, ironic comment on something?”.
thanks for the ride up until now.
and now, let’s buckle up EVEN MORE, shit’s gonna once again hit the fan.
Glorious, right? I like the panels that are really immersive and show senses of scale and the vastness of kingdoms and cities and how everyone is repeating the cycles of violence towards a finality: Violence Forever or Peace By Annihilation
you are so right \m/_
Diplomacy fail coming. Allison tells them no, with icy politeness. As they turn to leave, Nukoko raises that to telling Nand where to stick his offer, in detail, with hand gestures. Then the mother of all domestic rows. Then The Fight.
