Nukoku’s visage is a naïve cuteness. Also, it’s incredibly cold up here and I think I’m getting sucked into the transmogrification relief technique black hole.
Maybe there’s a baby red god insiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii|||||||||||||||———
Love the severe sharpness apparent here in Arihorr. Maybe it’s because there’s so much bone-white that the black inks really stand out.
What a nightmare for realtors, investors, owners, and tenants in Throne, and the related crime guilds.
“Boss, we can’t collect rents, protection money, extortion, bribes, insurance, surcharges, fees, or run games in that sector.”
“Why not ?”
“Everyone fled, and no wonder. Stand there for a few minutes and it feels like yer nasal pits and nads will freeze over and break off.”

Dave punched Jag right in the dick so hard the two of them broke through multiple worlds. Whether it was an intentional use of his key, or the technique of relief is so destructive it bored through all but the lowermost layer of creation (Throne), is unclear.
And when you feel you’re near the end
Will you just turn it over and start again?
Is there a stirring in your heart
As the time comes when we will have to part?
And when you feel you’re near the end
And there’s a stranger where once was a friend
And you are left without a word
Only the whispers that you’ve overheard
Standing in silence, holding my breath
Disconnected and dry
And though I’m certain that there’s nothing left
To hold on to, to give or to try
Some things never change, no, don’t ever change
And I’m feeling the cold
Thinking that we’re getting older and wiser
When we’re just getting old
And when you feel you’re near the end
And what once burned so bright is growing dim
And when you see what’s been achieved
Is there a feeling that you’ve been deceived?
I’m hoping Nukoko doesn’t also fall in love with Allison and the fact she’s sticking around for the final boss fight is more of an epitaph for her previous self/a trippy, abstract metaphor for realising your other has grown into a way different person then the one you fell for and it might be best for both of you to cut the knot.
Cio’s death and the whole sequence leading up truly capture how nonsensical and unreal mortality feels and it’s my opinion that it’s far more powerful as a true end to Cio as a character then any kind of “symbolic” death meant to be followed by a personal transformation.
I’ve seen some people theorise that Allison is going to ultimately end up with White Chain and I’d feel like that be more poignant as musing of how people can can change and how it impacts those they care, for better and for worse. White Chain starts off as an incomprehensible and alien presence in Allison’s life only to gradually evolve into a person she could even share her life with as she comes to terms with what she’s been repressing, while her bond with Cio feels unbreakable and immutable until a traumatic experience so greatly alters her perspective that Allison can’t recognise her anymore.
Why not a polyamorous situation?
You are too much locked in a monogamous frame of mind. This is Throne, you can love and have pleasure with whoever and as many as you like, all at the same time. ‘Tis the season to be horny.
I just binged the entire comic to this point… starting yesterday. It wasn’t actually the first time I’d read it… a long time ago I’d read a good chunk of the first book, I think? Don’t remember why I didn’t continue. Well, yesterday I went back to the beginning and today I’ve got up. Amazing experience. I don’t know how I’ll survive reading it one update at a time. Honestly, I might not. Maybe I’ll come back again in a few years… but I do love these characters and this world, and it’d be a shame to leave them…
stick around. read the wiki and all comic descriptions, run it back through in two months, it is such an experience to relive. the Wheel is not yet broken.
We are all in the process of becoming someone new. By the 15 and 1 golden tones, Allison please show Nukoku the love you couldn’t show her before.
Yes!
Domination, discipline, hurt and whips.
Corsets and abuse.
Dungeons.
Gotta love her, but she’s not as cute as her old self.
Yes, but she must be a monster in bed!

“I am… someone new…” boy Allison where have we heard that before
Allison should transform in someone new too.
She IS someone new.
Compare Allisons: this one, and that fragile lady from chapter one. Even the art changed!

I can’t remember, weren’t they fighting Jaggy on Rayuba? how did they transport the sphere all the way to Throne?

Gotta hate when Land Lords just paint everything white. Really removes all the souls from the architecture.
Here we are right near the edge. nothing left to do but let gravity take over

This is David Gilmour, by the way.
I have not been here for all those eleven years, not even remotely but I have been happy for the time that I have been.
11 years!!!! Thanks Abaddon and here we go!
Who put the original bits of Cio’s mask back together. Alison only had the one chunk. Where did the rest come from?
Who made Nukoku’s mask?
Who Made Who?
New Coke has VERY long hair

Pity… I liked her. But then again, everyone else was changed from the last battle, so it would be weird if she stayed the same.
Whoa…
it’s crazy how i’ve traversed 10 years of story in three nights
