Crazy thought: the factotum is not Nyave but Cio2, who though voiceless has been running things by art and action. Cio always was an organiser. Allison has just declared war on the prime power in the republic.

I was also thinking that the only demon who could be leading the Republic would be Cio. But others here have suggested just about every demon we’ve met besides KILL BOSS.
I wonder whether Allison knows that “factotum” doesn’t mean “in charge”, but rather “the one who does all the work”

Arm prosthetics are, like all prosthetic limbs, super uncomfortable and often (in the case of arms) super impractical. You can do a lot with a part of an arm, and sometimes no hand is better than a clumsy hand!
Yea too bad Allison didn’t keep the magitech ones– but then again symbolism, etc. etc.
In case anyone was curious, Antivenom is made by injecting a large animal, like a horse, with a managable amount of venom. The animal’s body produces antibodies to fight the venom. These antibodies are then drawn out of the animal as a serum.
The antibody serum, which is not venom, can then be injected into anyone who needs it to help fight off that same venom.
Yup, she failed Biology class I guess.

Man, I just love this epic adventure.
Panel 1 – White Chain’s expression pretty much sums up every hangover we’ve all ever had.
Then we get a great Hangover Recovery montage, in which they “make the sweat drip from every pore” (to quote Jack White), ending with a turn in the baths, after which they look much refreshed and ready to argue.
Allison gets anti-venom wrong – as commenter Bloof points out, above – (thanks, Bloof!). What she’s describing is the old “hair of the dog” alcohol poisoning remedy, which actually CAN mitigate withdrawal, but getting to that point is ill-advised.
And then we have the actual plot. I have no idea what Allison’s plan is, but it seems to be in the “we’ve got no chance, what do we have to lose” category, and I also have no idea who the Factorum is, or what they might be able to do.
But no matter what happens, it’ll be epic!
