Honestly a bit surprised that so many people are surprised by this outcome especially considering the title page for “Breaker of Infinities” literally is Allison with a prosthetic arm and sans an eye. If the entire message behind the continuous failure to beat Jaggsy through multiple cycles of reality is that violence only begets violence and you have to work together to make things better it was kind’ve foretold that even with high power levels the Demiurge’s were not going to win that way.
Hey, if you went through a semi-divine storm of infinite swords that cut you 80,000 times and came out the other side just missing an arm and an eye, I’d say you’re doing pretty damned well for yourself.
The infernal serpent; he it was, whose guile
Stirred up with envy and revenge, deceived
The mother of mankind, what time his pride
Had cast him out from Heaven, with all his host
Of rebel angels, by whose aid aspiring
To set himself in glory above his peers,
He trusted to have equaled the most high,
If he opposed; and with ambitious aim
Against the throne and monarchy of God
Raised impious war in Heaven and battle proud
With vain attempt. Him the Almighty Power
Hurled headlong flaming from the ethereal sky
With hideous ruin and combustion down
To bottomless perdition, there to dwell
In adamantine chains and penal fire,
Who durst defy the Omnipotent to arms.
(On a second tought, can she even do that? Returning to earth i mean, arent one of the uses of those keys to travel between universes, but now that i think about it i dont recall Alison ever using it that way.)
In one of the first books Alison teleported back to Earth. She then chose to go back to search for Zaid. But she can go there. Not that it would do the multiverse much good. That universe is also on Jaggy’s hitlist.
“You’ve met with a terrible fate, haven’t you?”
A quote I was once patronized often with when I was but a puff of basic particles. Thought it was fitting here.
Well, that answers the burning question of how she ends up looking like the cover art. So that’s one question answered.
Also the answer to the question “Just how many freakin’ arms does that big sumbitch have, anyway?” appears to be: 80,000.
So check that one off the list, too.
Considering what ol’ Jaggy “I’ve-got-a-buttload-of-swords-and-I-don’t-care-what-mom-says-I’m-gonna-use-’em” just unleashed, Allison’s not doing so bad.
Well, OK, plummeting through space toward the devastated planet below, after having an arm ripped off and an eyeball ripped out is not what one would call optimal. And being sliced out of the triumvirate being into which she was melded is pretty harsh. But coming out alive is pretty damn good under the circumstances.
I don’t think this is The End by any means.
I know Abbadon has said he’s going to wrap things up, but there’s waaaay too much unresolved for this to be over, at least from the story point of view.
We’ll see, but I think there’s a lot more to come…
This is definitely the most over the top “over the top attack” I’ve heard of ever. I’ll definitely wave my arms 80.000 times in the shower, leaving no space in my bathroom that is not a pretend sword. This shall be named “new and improved shower water kamehame-blow”
Panel 6 ; this new city roads expansion , sponsored by Jagganoth , is LIT !
*Honk*

All Hail What’s Left of the Conquering Queen!
Puts a new meaning to YiSun saying “Destroy the greatest enemy that is I “
Alison: “I’ll take it!”
Alison, hitting the water at a million miles per hour and breaking all her bones: “I’ll take it, but even MORE regrettably!”
Well that explains the living wood arm….
.. and the Eye. Zoss eh what.
Missing an arm and an eye… I dunno, seems like she got off easy, all things considered.
Owned by worm-feelings and sword-logic
Spectacular pages.
And all because of that effing worm.
Xivu Arath would be proud. A chip off the old final shape block, that Jagganoth.
…Also, yet again, worms cause problems for a whole planet.
was Zoss not also missing an eye and arm?
Sucks to be Rayouba.
Ahhh, there it is. What a disarming page.

Well, this isn’t going anywhere nice…
I just hope the author doesn’t go Mass Effect on us – good story, unsatisfactory ending.
You can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs
Ouch
Now its time to teleport into a hospital.

where’d her pants go
cut off?
Huh. She survived, so maybe the Demiurges did too. Probably worse for wear though, if Alison is any indication.
Well. That’s certainly a pity.

When Zoss first took out his helmet he also had a wood gauntlet and his right eye… It sparkled in red. There are no coincidences
Wow nice catch

It’s worth asking.. If that’s Alison falling from the arena, where are the other members of Aspected Chaos?
something something CUT thats a WRAP *rim shot*
