I think thats actually a kidney belt. Its a fairly normal armor item. It keeps the armor more closely fitted, adds one more layer of protection to the kidneys, and actually provides major strength and balance boosts by adding kinesthetic pressure to the core muscles.
Its like a lightly-armored back brace.
This is a universe based on lies and violence. Coyote only occasionaly resorts to violence, and never lies; therein lies the danger, of course. He would THRIVE in this universe, but I doubt he would like it.
Indeed, Zoss wore gauntlets of Angel armour with a similar lovely gold tree design with inlaid sapphire, at the elbow. Allison’s gauntlet looks like a composite, perhaps of forged ash, leather and metal. One hopes she still has her hand in there.
But my, does she have a striking and powerful look to her.
Thanks to the magic of Webcomics, you can still turn the page, even at the start of a new book. You just have to hit the Previous Page button.
Now, I know that’s not what you thought you meant, but this is actually better. You just need to remember that turning the previous page is still turning a page. Dee, if Abbadon had posted another page, you’d only get to read 1 more page. Not so with the Previous Page button, which will let you read four amazing books. BACKWARDS!
That’s more than 400% more content then a boring, old, new page!
Jadis cleans up nice. That shadow’s worrisome, though. Goggy ain’t looking too hot; ratings must be down. Incubus could, as always, use some sun. Looks our main antagonists from the last three books are busy fighting the one for this book in the background.
And that makes seven demiurges on the right hand side of the cover. The question remains: is there one more on the left?
I suspect that Gog’s displeasure has less to do with ratings and more to do with headcount. How much mass did Gog-Agog have at the arena that Jagganoth destroyed?
Alternately, Gog’s glaring at Allison. Perhaps something will cause the latter to seem less cool in the eye of the former? The Worm seems the sort to turn disappointment in one’s self in being wrong out toward whoever made them wrong.
Jadis seems to have a schism, the one in the light looks young and regenerated and happy, perhaps with Allison or what she has done/will do to break the cycle Zoss could not, and change the Shape somewhat, that caused her such mental anguish when she saw it. One would wager her shadow twin is old and haggard and a bit grumpy. Maybe even as grumpy as Gog looks if that’s possible.
She’s lost an eye. We saw a glimpse of this a long time ago, during the title drop of the series. KSBD-4-79. There’s background colored text just below the image
This also took me a minute to understand, and I’d never seen it before. But they do mean background-colored, that is, dark grey, physically below the page. The alt-text of the page itself happens to have the same text.
HOLY SHIT. That’s…that’s quite the Easter Egg! I have to admit, even after all that I was still expecting plain text and not a link to an awesome extra drawing. Is that really Future Allison there???
What I’d like to know is how Allison can lose an eye when we know that knives shatter themselves on even her eyeball. That was the fight at Vash’s place, and looking at it again (King of Swords 2-19), her key wasn’t even glowing when it happened.
The anticipated showdown with Jag? One of the others? Surely require the power of a demiurge to do Allison that kind of damage, although the scars of Yabalchoath’s claws do visibly attest that not having a key was no barrier to her then.
I’m suspecting Jagganoth here. As in our hero gets the living poop kicked out of her sometime in the first or early second act and then needs to recouperate/recalibrate before overcoming Jag and/or assorted demiurges. (Complete speculation here.)
One final thought on potential eye loss theories here. Knowing how Abbadon likes turning things on their head and moving story lines in unexpected ways, I was reminded of a comment made by Himself (the king of devils) back in Book 3 to remember him when she came into power. Now losing an eye seems like the kind of thing Himself would ask for in return for a service or knowlege of some kind, the king of thing that only Himself could provide. Ponder that.
Why is Allison winking at the camera? Or intense glare-squinting? I can’t even make one eye bulge like that with my other one closed.
This story is getting so crazy good. I’ve never liked a chapter cover so much.
If you’re referring to the Big Hat + Big Skirts Wearing Person with a Flaming Whip – that would be Mottom. She’s got bronze huevos if she has even the hope of damaging Jagganoth with it. ( Maybe as a distraction ? )
Cool look on Incubus – reminds me of a demented Elric with that wild white hair. Jadis appears to have more sides to her… Allison looks formidable. Looks like five out of seven demiurges are going to fight barehanded with exotic martial arts and demiurgic powers. I only see two bearing weapons at the moment, not counting Mammon’s fiery exhalations.
Who killed Rayuba ?
I, said Jagganoth,
with my Legion of Wrath I killed Rayuba.
Who saw Rayuba Die ? I, said Gog-Agog,
with my millions of eyes,
I saw the world flame and die.
Who caught the blood ? I, said Incubus,
With an army of cup bearers, I caught the river of blood.
Who’ll make the shrouds ?
None, said Nyave,
There are not enough living,
to make the shrouds.
Who’ll dig the graves ?
None, said Zaid.
Those who can must make pyres and fires.
Who’ll say the rites ?
I, said Vigilant Gaze
By this Eye, for Rayuba’s dead,
I’ll say the rites.
Who’ll be the Witness ?
I, said Jadis,
Witnessed this first in Mind,
Then in the Real. I bear Witness.
Who’ll pull the cart ?
I, said Princess Jack,
because I’m yoked,
I’ll pull the cart.
Who’ll be the chief mourner ?
I, said Solomon David,
I mourn Rayuba,
world that I loved,
I’ll be chief mourner.
Who’ll carry the coffin ?
I, said Mammon,
If someone will guide my steps,
I’ll carry the coffin.
Who do we bury in that coffin ? Asked a burned and blinded child. No one, Everyone, replied a crippled Elder. It’s for all who were blasted and burned,
– all who cannot be found, their memory we hallow in this ground.
Who’ll bear the pall ?
I, said Mottom,
this cloth of gold will serve,
I’ll bear the pall.
Who’ll carry the incense ?
I, said Allison,
On this day,
I’ll carry the Incense
Who’ll sing a psalm ?
I, said White Chain,
With my new voice, I’ll sing a psalm.
Who’ll toll the bell ?
I, said Cio Cioelle, from this cart, I shall toll the bell.
And Peoples of countless shapes and Worlds,
fell a-sighing and a-sobbing,
when they heard the bell toll
for poor Rayuba,
For they Feared their World and Loved ones and Selves would be the very next to Burn,
in the Conflagration.
The king of creation fell out of heaven, usurped by a seven headed beast. But the old king choose a new, and she ignited the third conquest. She was flanked by a white and a black flame, her coming was followed by 108 burning stars. She bore the terrible heat of the voice in her brow, the mark of her lordliness. Now she faces the beast – and she will annihilate it. She wields the terrible blade of want, and the pillars of heaven quake with her coming. And her name – her name is – Kill Six Billion Demons.
It looks like Jadis may be doing her own YIS/UN division, note the black shadow behind her. Maybe that’s how she recovers from her omniscient paralysis, by splitting it all into two halves.
You know, I love all the character designs, but I’ve never really been on board with Alison’s progressively shorter hairstyles. I don’t know. I just like gals with long hair I guess.
Jadis has long hair and she was one of the most powerful beings in existence before getting cubed. I’d say that once you’re punching through planets everything else stops mattering for anything besides fashion points.
And clearly Alison prefers the short hair look here so more power to her.
I just had a really weird thought (forgive me if someone already said this and I just missed it) but maybe the four orders of knights correspond to the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
Geas: Death
Belligerent: War
Perigrene: Pestilence
Mendicant: Famine
Might be a bit of a stretch, but Belligerent and Mendicant fit pretty much perfectly.
Do a little more reading before doubling down on your incorrect statement without any evidence. From Wikipedia:
“Revelation 6 tells of a book/scroll in God’s right hand that is sealed with seven seals. The Lamb of God/Lion of Judah opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses. To Zechariah, they are described as “the ones whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth” causing it to rest quietly. Ezekiel lists them as “sword, famine, wild beasts, and plague.”
Later, John – ever the revisionist – renamed them a little. Old testament wins every time.
A bit of nuance-The only horseman that is explicitly named is Death. The others are only identified by their horses’ colours. The only consistent element in both lists is famine. “Sword” is obviously War, and “wild beasts” is thought to be death in reference to how nature runs wild in depopulated settlements. Therefore, the one who “went out conquering and to conquer” is associated with plague (often translated as pestilence) but Biblical scholars are divided as to whether these four “elements” (so to speak) correspond to a rider each (a logical conclusion) or are the consequence of all four riders. Zechariah describes them as being “spirits of heaven” keeping peace on Earth and Ezekiel says the Lord sent them, quit different from the seemingly demonic portrayal in Revelations. Anyways, theology is complicated :p
Based on the ordering given, and the identical horses, that actually suggests that Death and Plague are the same, not Conquest/Pestilence and Plague. Conquest would more likely be Sword. This interpretation confusingly implies that War is Famine and Famine is Wild Beasts. Given John’s reordering of Sword, Famine, Plague (also translated as Death, apparently), and Wild Beasts, and the fact that War is said to have a sword, it may be that War is Sword and Conquest is actually Wild Beasts. Given that Conquest has a bow, that might make more sense.
Interesting that Dave is the only one not facing the viever. That implies that he’s going other way than rest of the Demiurges. Maybe he allies with Jagganoth to save Rayuba? It’s not that far fetched idea.
I could definitely see him getting murdered to death to job for the Red God, but he’d never side with him. The Red God wants total annihilation, and that means that Rayuba could never be truly safe.
I am unreasonably disappointed that there won’t be 6 books, not simply because I want more, but because there’s a big ol’ 6 right their in the title and there are 6 sitting Demiurges. Ignore Incubus, he doesn’t count and he knows it. (Alternatively, don’t count Jag, since he broke from the others.)
I was surprised and kinda relieved to see Jadis on the cover- she’s only appeared in a few scenes and obviously hasn’t said much (ha). I sorta expected Abaddon to just have Jaganoth kill her off in the next panel. Hopefully we find out how she escaped her ice cube and got her shadow buddy.
Diamond may be unbreakable but Infinity is apparently not.
It looks like Alison is going to go through a lot more before this storyis out. I can´t wait!
Ol’ Jack doesn’t like the look on the worms’ face. There’s either awful plots and mischief afoot or not enough plots and mischief afoot for its liking.
While we’re on the subject of fashion… how I wish this (or any of a bunch of other scenes) was a shirt in real life. @Abbadon, will there be any more wearable KSBD stuff in the future? My old shirt with Book 1’s cover has worn out! Thanks for the brilliant comic!
Damn, it’s really sad to think that this story is about to end. We never really got to know much about Jadis (although I suspect this final book might fix that). Well, if this final book is as long as the last one we might still be here for a while, anyways I really hope Abbadon decides to keep writing about this amazing universe he’s built. Not necessarily a direct sequel to K6BD (which would be super nice, I’d love to read more about Allison, Cio, White Chain and the whole gang) just more stuff about this universe and its characters would be wonderful.
Maybe side stories about the demiurges and Zoss? Kinda like when we got a glimpse of how Solomon achieved his power and built his kingdom
Yeah, I agree. I much preferred the more subdued and artisanal looking fonts of books 1-3. Book 4 already used this more blocky one, but it was less “tacky” because it didn’t use the white outline.
My guess is, Abaddon wanted to use the same as book 4, but because there is just so much damn red in this cover he needed to add the white outline to preserve readability.
But yeah, I agree it looks a bit weird, like it was just slapped on, whereas the other ones seems more part of an integrated, cohesive design.
at some point it’d be funny if the new King-Of-All should drop by on her old sorority flat-mates, show them her Lady-BOSS new look. (they would probably flip their shit)
I wonder when this is all said and done, the gate for Earth will be open, among the others, it is her home-world after all.
Both Mottom and Solomon David seem to be more focused on Jagganoth. Jadis looks quite happy to be out of her chrystal, but we can’t see the expression on her shadow-self, if it has one. Gog-Agog looks uncharastically annoyed and disappointed. And Incubus is smiling! But how did he end up with scars like that?
And yes, where’s the family? And why’s Allison looking so… cruel? LAst tiem she looked like that was after her psycho-self got in control.
Huh. I tried to go back to the earlier pages and find the “Who?” back during the Concordance of Demiurges they held over Zaid, but they don’t appear to be in that panel anymore. The wiki still has ’em though.
Seeing how similar they looked to this Allison, I was kinda hoping something was up. Maybe it’s just a plot thread that got dropped.
So I’m going to point out that the Alison on the cover is very likely to not be the same Allison we have been following. Notably this one looks exactly like the one we saw in the bonus picture of the panel where the demiurges learn the name of the new king(the title of the comic)
We also know that zoss has been working behind the scenes keeping the universe stuck in some sort of groundhog day loop. With the ultimate goal of keeping Alison from falling “to the dark side” for lack of a better term. Something he implies has happens during every attempted “loop” so far.
The whole time loop (?) idea Zoss mentioned makes me think this chapter is going to feature an AU/Dream where Zaid really is the chosen one. Maybe we’ll get to see the previous iterations of the story?
What I meant was that maybe in the previous cycles Zaid was KSBD but failed at stopping Jagganoth (or whoever the true villain may be). So this time Alison was chosen in order to break the cycle. Hence why Jadis thought it was Zaid: it technically WAS him in another cycle of reality.
I’m still wondering what role Zaid plays in the story, I feel like he is important somehow. A lot of people pointed out that Zaid and Zoss both start with the same letter and they both seem Middle-Eastern/South Asian implying a connection. I’ve seen people suggest Zaid is his son, or his reincarnation. My dumbass theory was always that Zoss was somehow a fusion of Zaid and the smith-god Koss just because their names sound similar.
I’d find it vastly more interesting if zaid was just a normal teen who was in the wrong bedroom at the wrong time. Having him be an utter red-herring for everybody in the comic seems likely.
Mathilda Morgana Galileo Figaro, Blue devil extrodinare
Preem Goo observant. Gog is worms, worms is animal, animal is beast. It is beast, is holder of word Beast, and is a beast, birthed from bubbly Flame heat, by Beast-Headed God.
Praise Yis Voya, keeper of the words. (link to ksbd tumblr mod’d).
Alison loses the eye by replicating the efforts of Aesma and Jadis: divining the ultimate and fundamental nature of the Wheel and embracing the true name of God. Think Sideways, my friends.
But she’s smart enough to keep one eye closed, because she has no reason to assume “boiled the eyes from Aesma’s skull” wasn’t totally literal
isn’t it odd that the only Demiurge who looks really unhappy in this picture is Gog-Agog? Wasn’t Allison supposed to kil them all? I guess she’s never been one for doing what she’s supposed to do though…
The symbolism of the size proportions of the 8 figures on the cover is really telling. The only figure taller than Allison is Jagganoth, faced by solomon, mottom, and mammon; they’re shrunken down as they’re already hurdles that Allison has overcome. Behind her lurk Jadis, Incubus, and Gog, lesser threats than Big J, but still looming. I think this cover might say a lot about the general direction of the last book. We’re getting more stuff with the 3 demiurges in the foreground. N I C E
I get a bad feeling that part of this is gonna be Jadis getting “obliterated…” and *whatever she saw* taking her over, becoming the True Final Boss after Jagganoth.
Allison acquired her key by having it shoved into her forehead by Zoss.
Is it possible that Jagganoth’s key exists in a manifested state, outside of his own skull, due to his invincibility? His body being so unbreakable that it will not permit any foreign objects, even a key, to enter it?
Interest. Remember other pictions of keys outside heads, but Jaggy most. His key changed for while and look like Salami key. Back now. /?comic=ksbd-3-45 ksbd-4-76 an others.
I just noticed that of all the demiurges Incubus is the only one without a visible key, could it be a certain drunk is going to remove it from his skull?
HAIRCUT!!!! and new arm????
Not to mention a newly free socket
😉
I can’t breathe in this placket corset!
Just won Multiverse Boxing Federation superheavyweight title.
Also see Zoss’ logo on front, like on jacket shoulder, and atum glory/halo.
Head of John? More like, ‘hey, you’re eye’s gone’.
It’s just a glove. Don’t know what leather was used, though.
I’m looking at the fingers and thinking that’s not a glove.
Agreed, those look like articulating joints on the fingers.
She used something like it during the assault on Mammon’s Vault. Not quite armless; I believe they’re just knuckle guards.
… that is A Thing, right? I think it was A Thing. Knuckleguards. Gnuckles. God, no, knuckle guards was fine.
That’s Zoss’s arm guard… have we seen that Jojo jacket somewhere before?
it does look like Zoss’s Arm, but if it is, its not an armguard but a prosthetic arm from living wood.
Ysengrin up to ‘is machinations agin.
Boy, Coyote would NOT like this ‘verse. Not one bit.
Coyote would DEFINITELY enjoy this ‘verse
This is a universe based on lies and violence. Coyote only occasionaly resorts to violence, and never lies; therein lies the danger, of course. He would THRIVE in this universe, but I doubt he would like it.
It’s not exactly the same as Oscar’s, but it’s got a striking resemblance, hmm..
Tree design minding us o the dead Void-version o the tree at Koss Hearth.
That jacket has the same symbol as Meti’s hairpiece.
It is Maya’s jacket… Which also has the symbol of her Army before Incubus stole that ish.
Also, new earring. Sho kyute, I wanna tug at it. :3
This is even more interesting to look at again when going back to something hidden in a page’s HTML stuff VERY far back…
THIS LOOKS SO AMAZING I CANNOT WAIT!!!
LETS GO!!!
GLORY TO THE DIVINE CORPSE!
Why can’t I turn the page!?
This looks incredible
You can!
Thanks to the magic of Webcomics, you can still turn the page, even at the start of a new book. You just have to hit the Previous Page button.
Now, I know that’s not what you thought you meant, but this is actually better. You just need to remember that turning the previous page is still turning a page. Jadis is a wardrobe malfunction begging to occur.
Incubus urgently needs a meeting with a surgeon and probably a nutritrionist.
Alisson has started to adopt the Warhammer 40k’s Empire lifestyle, it looks awesome.
I can’t get to this page through the ‘Next Page’ button for some reason. Looks awesome though! Is that Jadis out of the crystal?
I want to see maya
aaaAHHH- *consistent, similar screaming persists~*
Major changes:
Hair cut
Missing eye?
Missing left arm?
Witch is out of her glass?
I’m so excited its been a long journey since 2013.
Very happy for you Abbadon, congratulations on reaching the final book and never giving up.
*Right arm.
Just me or does Allison look like she’s lost an eye?
She’s lost an eye. We saw a glimpse of this a long time ago, during the title drop of the series. KSBD-4-79. There’s background colored text just below the image
Well damn, somehow never caught this.
Don’t wear it out, indeed.
Wait, I’m missing something, what does the background text say and how does “Don’t wear it out” allude to Allison losing an eye?
This also took me a minute to understand, and I’d never seen it before. But they do mean background-colored, that is, dark grey, physically below the page. The alt-text of the page itself happens to have the same text.
What an image, though.
Well that sure is an easter egg.
For those still confused: try selecting the area below the comic but above the navigation arrows.
HOLY SHIT. That’s…that’s quite the Easter Egg! I have to admit, even after all that I was still expecting plain text and not a link to an awesome extra drawing. Is that really Future Allison there???
Oh dear. I accidentally put in *that* name due to autofill. I had used it to make a point on name duplication earlier, but in any case
What I’d like to know is how Allison can lose an eye when we know that knives shatter themselves on even her eyeball. That was the fight at Vash’s place, and looking at it again (King of Swords 2-19), her key wasn’t even glowing when it happened.

classically, heroes exchange eyes
for *wisdom*
One final thought on potential eye loss theories here. I’ve not a clue where this is going
Me neither.
worm mad 🙁
Spin that wheel, laugh at God!
I’m all here for some God-murdering, a little throne-toppling, mayhaps.
“Don’t wear it out”. She looks closer here to how she looked then.
aw man look at smolomon back there
I’m not ready for the last book 😭😭😭😭
MORE PLEASE
This seven times seven times. Abaddon is just hitting his/her/its stride.
“Don’t wear it out.”
Why is Allison winking at the camera? Or intense glare-squinting? I can’t even make one eye bulge like that with my other one closed.
This story is getting so crazy good. I’ve never liked a chapter cover so much.
That appears to be the mark of an eye that’s been poked out.
GLORY TO THE DIVINE CORPSE, O BREAKER OF INFINITIES
I just want Jadis to kick all the ass ever since she was introduced
The final book is nigh. Rejoice as we finally see the wheel itself be cut.
Incredibly hype! Only one thing missing. Where is the sword auntie?!
I was waiting this for ages, thank you. I adore Jadis and knew the off glass thing. I share your wish, being
I have no idea what to expect except something to look forward to
Has Jagganoth acquired a functioning left eye?
The only he thing he needed to wreak true multiverse havoc… depth perception.
They are looking more like that mysterious KSBD now
Wait, who is the orange figure on the right though? MYSTERY INTENSIFIES
That’s Mottom, isn’t it?

Speechless with awe
Hype!

I don’t think Alison much cares about your opinion of her looks.
I certainly hope she doesn’t!
The more fighting she does the more of a survival trait short hair becomes
Honestly, it’s just practical to have short hair if you’re gonna be exchanging planet-decimating punches with mad gods of infinity.
Also HOLY SHIT LOVE THIS COVER.
Jadis has long hair and she was one of the most powerful beings in existence before getting cubed. I’d say that once you’re punching through planets everything else stops mattering for anything besides fashion points.
And clearly Alison prefers the short hair look here so more power to her.
I dunno, if Jadis had cut her hair, would she no longer be cubed?
I Dare say Allison looks kinda BERSERK…:)
Was going to post something along this line. She definetely needs some sort of Ten-Cubit Sword to complete the image, though.
Nani? Infinity Breako!?

Might be a bit of a stretch, but Belligerent and Mendicant fit pretty much perfectly.
Hmmm… Peregrine Mendicant…
Also, Pestilence isn’t a horseman. You’re thinking of Conquest.
Plague is most definitely one of the horsemen.
Plague is most definitely not.
Preem Draco is observant… their words echo the scholars of six years ago (numbering 3-44).
In the background:
Mammon: OW! Quit it Mottom.
AHHHH WHAT AN AWESOME COVER!
Interesting that Dave is the only one not facing the viever. That implies that he’s going other way than rest of the Demiurges. Maybe he allies with Jagganoth to save Rayuba? It’s not that far fetched idea.
Or friggin’ dies early enough to not even be important! Hah.
I could definitely see him getting murdered to death to job for the Red God, but he’d never side with him. The Red God wants total annihilation, and that means that Rayuba could never be truly safe.
Besides, he’s too proud to ask for help.
THIS IS AMAZING
The King Rises
I must say this cover is soooo Badass !!
I wonder where is Maya and the rest of Alison’s team
YEAAAHHHH, BOIIIIIIII
I hope this book will be extra thicc
damn, this cover gives off some serious Moebius vibes ^^
When is Book 4 going to be in print?
August 4, 2021.
I am unreasonably disappointed that there won’t be 6 books, not simply because I want more, but because there’s a big ol’ 6 right their in the title and there are 6 sitting Demiurges. Ignore Incubus, he doesn’t count and he knows it. (Alternatively, don’t count Jag, since he broke from the others.)
time sure flies
What do you think about Death?
Abaddon PLEASE! You need to let us buy these chapter covers as posters. I would pay you money for them and hang them all over my house.
Buy two of each book- one for reading, one to frame.
Nine keys to a seven-part world?
I was surprised and kinda relieved to see Jadis on the cover- she’s only appeared in a few scenes and obviously hasn’t said much (ha). I sorta expected Abaddon to just have Jaganoth kill her off in the next panel. Hopefully we find out how she escaped her ice cube and got her shadow buddy.
I can’t stop looking at this cover it’s so good. HYPE
And there are plenty of infinities for Allison to make broken, both physical and metaphysical.
Odin sacrificed his eye for wisdom.
I wonder what Allison will trade hers for, and under what circumstances.
Obviously, enhanced god-level barista skills! 🙂
Oh, I am here for this.
Diamond may be unbreakable but Infinity is apparently not.
It looks like Alison is going to go through a lot more before this storyis out. I can´t wait!
We’ve officially gone full Berserk (if it hasn’t been that way already), and I’m all for it.
Oh, cmon. Not the eye, so overused
There was some good foreshadowing of eye loss potential in this book, when she takes a blade to the eye and blocks it with godpower awesomeness.
Last one! 🙁
I’ve joined late but it’s been great so far.
Mammon! I’m glad to see him again. I liked him.
I’ll go out on a limb and say that the missing arm is due to Incubus and the missing eye is due to Gog Agog, or viceversa.
Ol’ Jack doesn’t like the look on the worms’ face. There’s either awful plots and mischief afoot or not enough plots and mischief afoot for its liking.
I see Alison is wearing belt and suspenders, always good to be prepared…
Also… is that Zoss’s arm she’s wearing?
While we’re on the subject of fashion… how I wish this (or any of a bunch of other scenes) was a shirt in real life. @Abbadon, will there be any more wearable KSBD stuff in the future? My old shirt with Book 1’s cover has worn out! Thanks for the brilliant comic!
I guess its good that this is the last cover? I’m not sure Kill Six Billion Demons could get any hotter than she is on this one.
Perhaps you could make your own stories by playing the K6BD RPG.
THIS AIN’T A DEMIURGE!
IT’S A GODS-DAMNED ARMS RACE!
HELL
YES
WAR IS UPON US! THE CORPSES WILL BE GLORIOUS!
Why would you change the cover font? Not a fan of the new one, it looks kinda tacky(sorry for being a dick)
But yeah, I agree it looks a bit weird, like it was just slapped on, whereas the other ones seems more part of an integrated, cohesive design.
exactly. It feels like a drawing with something on it, not a cover
Yikes.
ENERGY SWORD WEDNESDAY.
Don’t wear it out.
Oh look, it’s Jadis!
Oh look, it’s Jadis…
at some point it’d be funny if the new King-Of-All should drop by on her old sorority flat-mates, show them her Lady-BOSS new look. (they would probably flip their shit)
I wonder when this is all said and done, the gate for Earth will be open, among the others, it is her home-world after all.
1000% hyped about the final book and that badass-looking Allison. Buuut… Where’s Cio? Where’s White Chain? Where’s the family???
I’m guessing on the other side of the cover. This side seem to be reserved for Demiurges.
Allison looks like Uncle Ruckus, no relation.
Nev cover, new looks, new beginnings, new endings.
Truly, there is no Genesis.
Jeeze this is what I want a big poster of!
The pic was hidden in a link underneath the picture and above the next page buttons, it’s still there.
I wonder if Jadis is worse a threat than the red god– perhaps the cube was just a deceit. Anyone who looked at the shape of the universe…
Note the new scar across Alison’s neck by the way — maybe she gets beheaded like Zoss, but puts her own head back on.
It’s probably been said, but I cant help but notice that Alice-UN looks a lot like Zoss in this cover.
Not sure that’s a good thing…
It is known that Jadis, indeed, knows more of the Wheel than anyone else at all, ever.
It doesn’t mean she is fully omniscient, and there is the possibility that the retainer was mistaken on his readings.
I am firmly in the camp that Allison is indeed the Rising King, chosen by Zoss.
There is value in what you say.
I believe Zoss tried, and failed, to overturn his attempts at bettering the Wheel.
I suspect he used his dark arts to break infinities and, this time, attempt to overrule the fate that Jadis can see, for a hope of doing better.
Zoss mentions that when Alison leave cio for dead during her incubus enabled bout of inflated ego, that “he hopped this cycle would be different”
I’m fairly certain that Alison has always been the one to have the key of kings. Perhaps it isn’t even zosses choice who he hands the kings key to.
Gods I’m gay for Alison.
Like this isn’t the first time, but that short hair is just *bites finger*
Oh, I get it now. Kill Gog-a-gog. That’s the six billion, right there.
Gogalot is not a Demon, nor is she a Human or an Angel or a Helper. She is… something else. We may even find out what.
Hrmm… Reckon it’s time to get started!
Allison and Incubus seem to have traded haircuts.
And also…
JADIS!
She destroyed her cage
Yes
YES
The Jadis is OUT
GOOD post
Holy shit, Alison looks so fucking cool. I am 100% about this look.
Also, that confidence! The gaze!
Right?! Like… OMFG. O_O
She looks kinda evil tho, and the way the halo is flairing up looks distinctly diffrent from how it’s looked before.
She gotta keep an eye out for Selener…
Ok, calling it now:
Alison loses the eye by replicating the efforts of Aesma and Jadis: divining the ultimate and fundamental nature of the Wheel and embracing the true name of God. Think Sideways, my friends.
But she’s smart enough to keep one eye closed, because she has no reason to assume “boiled the eyes from Aesma’s skull” wasn’t totally literal
That coat is extremely familiar to me and I cannot place it. Did Mottom’s palace guards not wear similar?
Clicked the first page and latest page button a couple of times because I’m enamored with our young heroines growth!
Sulkworm.
is that ZOSS’ Arm????
oh booooooi
isn’t it odd that the only Demiurge who looks really unhappy in this picture is Gog-Agog? Wasn’t Allison supposed to kil them all? I guess she’s never been one for doing what she’s supposed to do though…
Her power is inversely correlated to the length of her hair.
I’m always a sucker for shoulder coats
Allison acquired her key by having it shoved into her forehead by Zoss.
Is it possible that Jagganoth’s key exists in a manifested state, outside of his own skull, due to his invincibility? His body being so unbreakable that it will not permit any foreign objects, even a key, to enter it?
Interest. Remember other pictions of keys outside heads, but Jaggy most. His key changed for while and look like Salami key. Back now. /?comic=ksbd-3-45 ksbd-4-76 an others.
I also find it interesting the size disparity of the auras.
gangs all here!!
I just noticed that of all the demiurges Incubus is the only one without a visible key, could it be a certain drunk is going to remove it from his skull?
