I wonder, could you turn words into a weapon, if you knew how? Some folk say that the right combination of words can break any person’s soul.
Could you reach heaven through dialects?
Relaying that you need help to slay a wounded angel who bleeds birds is a tough sell after you’ve just massacred thousands in an arena. People might mistrust your motives.
This fool sees the diamond being split perfectly in an excellent display of swordsmanship it will be beautiful and as mortals say absolutely terrifying. This fool recommends everyone run and get their shit together before he kills us all.
Hm. So Metatron’s design was to have Jagganoth as Metatron’s executioner, and Jagganoth’s way to break free is to… execute Metatron. Am I misunderstanding something?
Metatron wants Jagganoth to murder the Demiurges at least and purge the universe of all life. Then they give Zoss key to whoever the heir is. I do not think his own murder is oart of that plan, and Jagganoth’s betrayal may not even be known.
Given METATRON LIVES but is paralyzed in the Void since Zoss kicked his head in, and Metatron is more accurately 1 Metatron and _will regenerate is he’s kiled_….
Eventually. It took a long time for 2 Michael to show up after Michael 1 was killed with the rest of the Primes, and Metatron 1’s been around even longer.
… All of the Primes are dead except Metatron…
Something something transform and roll out.
To be fair to the Red God, he *has* been doing nothing but preparing for the last 10,000 odd years. Despite all that time, he felt now was the time to strike. But in any case… I, too, doubt the efficacy of that swing
I mean to be fair the guy has lost like 2-3 tons since the series started. Maybe he needed to tone his core to really perfect that single-stroke demiurge-slaying technique.
One must wonder though what Jagganoth is capable of doing. This is the first blow struck by one of the demiurges of the seven part world against another demiurge that we have witnessed. A god one might add that has been preparing for this exact battle and has chosen now to commit his strength.
Jagganoth the demiurge of war, who has inspired fear in the other six so much so that they have created an alliance to stop him. Could any of the others stop him one on one?
So Metatron WAS the angel who nailed those spikes into his skin. And made him invulnerable.
Interesting turn of events to say the least. Who is playing who?
Never underestimate Jagganoth, he is no mere brute. Neither his prodigious size nor the weight of his ambitions slows his advance. No mere warlord may hold a piece of the Seven Part World, The God Eater is a force of equal parts cunning and brutality. Upon his brow is the terrible word BLADE, for at all times Yaun is a continuous cutting motion.
No question is ignorant save for the ones kept shut in silence.
LIkely not, since the exceptional thig about our fallen brother is that he is the singular of all Prime Angels to not have been dead at the hands of the Angel Slayer. He never incarnated since the day the god Koss hammered him into being.
His clearly deranged designs for the world would not have come to be if it was not for that conquering king and the cruelty he might have called mercy.
we begin.
The art of cutting reveals thesis and antithesis, before synthesis.
Reach heaven through dialectics.

Reality is a lie that Yisun is telling themself, so yes.
All it takes to turn words into sword is the movement of the letter S.
As long as such dialects were violent.
I shall now do so; granted my words hold the power required!
Make me a sword
Let time tell if my blade will be forged, or if none shall listen and heed my words.
All I’ve seen Hegelianism do is cause needless chaos, myself.
Royalty is a continuous cutting motion
Metatron lives… for now.
And the words of The Destroyer fall upon deaf ears.
Relaying that you need help to slay a wounded angel who bleeds birds is a tough sell after you’ve just massacred thousands in an arena. People might mistrust your motives.
Kane lives in death!
In the Name of Kane!
It is a beautiful day for a war.

jagganoth sure does speak like a fancy lad
“We live in a society, Al-Yisun.”
Hm. So Metatron’s design was to have Jagganoth as Metatron’s executioner, and Jagganoth’s way to break free is to… execute Metatron. Am I misunderstanding something?

“Metatron’s executioner” as in “the one who performs executions for Metatron”, not “the executioner of Metatron”. A bit ambiguous to be sure
Oh, but what if killing Metatron is all part of Metatron’s plan?
Cessation of all existence begins with the self. All this extraneous slaughter is but cheap theater
Given METATRON LIVES but is paralyzed in the Void since Zoss kicked his head in, and Metatron is more accurately 1 Metatron and _will regenerate is he’s kiled_….

I may be alone in this but I think that Jags without his helmet on actually looks cooler than with his helmet on.
The helmet’s a bit naff. Always has been.
You don’t like his hat? A mere glimpse of the trousers he wore in his last job would have struck you blind.
Fervently hoping it gets smitten in twain and he gets a new one. preferably one with a visor that’s not stupid looking.
A mask hides fear. Behind hard lies dwells harder truths. What days a coward may face when it’s not his face
When he wears the helm he is the Hellaphant… also maybe weird anti-Ganesha
Solomon seems awfully unconcerned about that attack.
Making me wonder if the blade was already snapped before the swing was halfway around and Jagganoth hadn’t noticed.
Or are we maybe going to see what it really looks like when Solomon bleeds?
What a twist! King Solomon is the who is cut in half.
Given that we just saw how completely badass Solomon David can be in the last chapter, I think he is about to be Worf’ed.
Maybe it’s not an attack? Perhaps J. is cutting the world again to make his exit?
I am GIDDY waiting for the Jagg Demiurge panel. I CANNOT WAIT.
I know Jadis & Gog won’t have individual books, but I hope we might get splash pages for them too!
I think Gog already got one. Just before the tournament arc.
Yaun ten Jantris, God Eater, Avatar of Destruction, Pankrator of a Thousand Worlds. Bearer of the word Truth and God of the Seven-Part World
Well to be fair, Salami has done his fair share of interrupting as well
So dramatic and flamboyant, it just makes me want to set myself on fire
Please do not commit immolation
How about autodefenestration? Is that allowed?
Only the Multiplicity are permitted suicide.
–and some of us cheat at it.
I find Solomon’s intervention reminiscent of that picture of mickey mouse yelling at donald duck “Will you fight? Or will you die as a dog?”
To be fair to the Red God, he *has* been doing nothing but preparing for the last 10,000 odd years. Despite all that time, he felt now was the time to strike. But in any case… I, too, doubt the efficacy of that swing
I think if Jag could cut down any of the other demiurges with *one sword stroke,* he wouldn’t have waited this long. Dave’s fine.
I mean to be fair the guy has lost like 2-3 tons since the series started. Maybe he needed to tone his core to really perfect that single-stroke demiurge-slaying technique.

The might of a Demiurge isn’t measured purely in what they can project physically. Their political power is just as important.
Besides, I think people were afraid of Jaggy because he’s basically invulnerable, not because of godlike offense.
Hey I just wanted to say thanks for helping fund PBS. It means a lot.
It is an investment in our future
As a wise man once said, ” I pity the fool”.
Metatron certainly could use a reincarnation cycle, but the key is still too dangerous to trust to any demiurge.
It is a beautiful day*, and you are a horrible demiurge.
*for a war
So Metatron WAS the angel who nailed those spikes into his skin. And made him invulnerable.

Nice Odinsword you got there, Jagger. Perfect for your own private Ragnarok.

Still, she persists.
Possibly an ignorant question: Was Jantris an incarnation or avatar of Metatron?
No, he was not. Jantris was a corpse soldier who was particularly good at making ghosts.
No question is ignorant save for the ones kept shut in silence.
LIkely not, since the exceptional thig about our fallen brother is that he is the singular of all Prime Angels to not have been dead at the hands of the Angel Slayer. He never incarnated since the day the god Koss hammered him into being.

Waiting for the hamm- nuclear sword to fall.
Here we stand or here we fall
History won’t care at all
Make the bed, light the light
Lady Mercy won’t be home tonight
You don’t waste no time at all
Don’t hear the bell but you answer the call
It comes to you as to us all
We’re just waiting for the hammer to fall
My God dude…you have outdone yourself…
