Also, how long is a Kalpa?
It’s a Buddhist notion of time. I recommend you look it up, because as the Buddha describes it, the actual answer is ‘a hilariously long time’
It takes up an entire Kalpa for the universe to end and if you go to the lowest Buddhist Hell you can even outlive an entire universe during your stay there, because of the severity of your sins. It’s crazy!

Kalpas are a ridiculous measurement of time and their length differs in Hinduism and Buddhism. Which one do the KSBD Kalpas sway towards more? Or is it a keyword for “Really super long”?
So apparently angels can reincarnate, that makes sense as to why Michael is pretty tiny for a Prime Angel (are they meant to be Arch-Angel stand ins?). 82 said that during the time before Zoss broke through to Throne that the Angels became swollen or something along those lines. Would that mean that Prime Angels started life as small and progressively their original armour shells grew with them and that PM is more of a title of superiority if anything? Or did the angel mass within grow and became more difficult to contain itself within the shell? Hmm…
With no one to break the law there would be little exercise to keep them trim no?
Perhaps they even feed on order, a resource in abundance with no mortals around
Maybe they just liked using with forges, and built themselves progressively greater bodies over time with nothing else to do.
Hmmm, that does sound pretty valid… We shall see.
It seems that Throne is a material place, and also that angels require special armor to be in a material place. It is my assumption that the prime angels inhabited the great armors and that those armors were made for them by the gods. When the Demiurges breached Throne the immortal angels were cast out of their armor, and of those prime angels only one has returned from the Void where the angels, by their nature, dwell.
But to return to the material world an armor is still required. The armors fashioned for the Prime angels by the gods were no longer available, having been turned to other uses. So this Prime angel, it seems, inhabits a lesser armor, carved by the Demiurges or by others.

I think I can kind of sort of understand what some of the specific Goblin words mean. Ken is probably Kin and therefore Man (as in mankind/humanity). Gula apparently means Throat or Orifice in Latin (I’m not certain) and is also the word for Gluttony so it’s the word for Hunger. That means N’Goll or just Goll is Doubt. Aon is probably the Goblin version for Aeon so Aon is time. (Unless it refers to the Angels as Aeons) In that case it means their words are written in a kind of backwards-ish order like Japanese, really fascinating.
There may be heat in an angel’s light (and what a terribly cold heat it is! I’ll not soon forget the cinders that were once the Market of Honeyed Moss), but there is no warmth. So thoroughly did Koss imprint the Law upon their Will that Michael’s ideal world is one in which he stares out into a blank and orderly void for an eternity!
The Kalpas of the Primes were a dark age for Throne, an emptiness between two ages of wonders. There will be no stories of those times, no great secrets learned, no wisdoms to be gleaned. Sooner the rats infest the house than have it stand empty an eternity!
You have to feel some pity for poor 2, don’t you? For all the uncounted aeons that his fire has burned, it is unlikely that he will ever know what it means to truly -live-.
Though your words have merit, I find little pity for a statue.
Yet while Throne stood empty, the 777,777 worlds were unconnected and unconquered. Some residents of a still unconquered world may take this for granted.

My heart is filled with fear and anticipation at the mere suggestion, Preem Bobert. They would make excellent prey indeed~
Oh, so the demons want their masks? And here I was presuming the masks were handed out after their naming, to prevent them from attaining further power.
See them, there, in their nakedness! They are possessed of a powerful Will and a hungry Ego, but there is not yet a Self! There is a form, but no identity! There are no stories of the Primes’ vigil over Throne, for there are individuals (and such mighty individuals indeed!) but no actions. The demons have no stories before the First Masking, for while there were a great many demons, and a great deal going on amongst them, it was impossible to distinguish oneself from another–they had not the concept of Self, though they hungered greatly for it.
I wonder, do the Devils cheat and beat the shit out of each other for names? As you say they have no real identity beneath their masks, just a hole of nothing and the best way to fill that hole is with “somethings”. Lousy greedy bastards aren’t content with one thing and want more. They all need to get along better methinks.
Those masks remind me of Hollow Knight, the realm below, where every bug had a mask and it was what gave them more than identity, but “conscience”. It’s more or less how we link the arrival of individual conscience with the taboo of covering the sex parts.

I just found out about this webcomic, and it’s absolutely brilliant.
Am I completely in the wrong here, or is a lot of it inspired by the Elder Scrolls (and Morrowind in particular? The tribunal and all that surrounds it?).
For example, the “Reach heaven through violence” is something Vivec has said- but perhaps that line exists elsewhere also?
