Is it just me or is that a 3d space filling curve? I.e. a one-dimensional object that has been folded into a three-dimensional shape. Folding emptiness and flesh together seems to point in that direction. Good job Gog! Developing the physics defying dimension warping powers of an eldritch horror on top of the aesthetic

Might anybody know the significance of Chrysanthemum, here? A flower, yes, but I fail to see the significance of a ‘flesh chrysanthemum.’ My first thought is that the Worm might have meant ‘chrysalis,’ but I remain uncertain.

Chrysanthemums, in East Asian traditions, symbolize longevity and nobility. My reading is that it’s Gog’s royalty manifest.
Outside of Asia, they’re usually associated with funerals and graves.
