Abbadon is a master at making hand destroyingly complicated character designs that are wonderfully scarousing.
From the beginning of Gog Agog’s appearances in the comic, I always figured she was fated from the narrative to be utterly defeated, just like the other demiurges. Now? Now I kinda want her to live through this whole thing and flourish like the hot worm goddess she is 0.0
Despite her death flags I think given the precident the story has set it may be possible for the funny worm lady to survive given how she’s getting back in the action instead of stagnating by sitting by and watching the world end like she has in past cycles but I’m probably just huffing copium lmao.

Seriously. I legit expect Solomon to get involved in the fight in an effort to Heroic Sacrifice Suicide himself and just…realize fuck it, he wants Team Allison to win and if he’s gotta live for that he’s GONNA live for that.
Well, she DID say this will be her 111th attempt to go “all out” in one of the billions of timelines she’s experienced. Either everything gets reset and it doesn’t matter, or she dies and everything at-last doesn’t reset, meaning something she did FINALLY mattered. Basically there’s no scenario where she dies and isn’t fine with it.
That being said, I DO rather want to see her survive, if only because it feels like she’s EARNED finally seeing what’s on the other side of the loop, y’know?
Although perhaps when you’ve lived as inconceivably long as she has, the end of the loop may entirely stop mattering. She’s already squeezed almost every possible experience out of life, after all. At this point any sort of ending may be its own reward.
I wonder, despite Gog never actively using her key ’til now, maybe it’s still the lynchpin allowing her to hold ALL that flesh together. If she gives up her key once she reaches the beginning of a new cycle at last, perhaps she can emulate YISUN and enjoy a glorious death of self-division? That’s a lot of brains rattlin’ around in there, y’know.
i was excited about the 111 tries thing also b/c like up until now the only guy who really got practice at this war was jagganoth & perhaps some of the angels. but if she’s got practice too, the resistance might not be doomed
Gogmagog’s consciousnesses are burned into the fabric of the universe from which they are woven, their memories lie waiting from the beginning of time for their inevitable return and ascension. For her, this is a good run at her favorite roguelike.
