Tales of the Full Bloom Flame, as my colleagues have taken to calling it, are many, so spectacular and heroic was the deed. I find the matter most intriguing, as thus far there are no other accounts of angels truly dying permanently, though I suspect with one gone, more shall follow eventually, following this most spectacular death of 10 Vigilant Gaze Pierces the Horizon.
it’s one thing to explode in a nearly all-against-one type fight as a screw you to everyone remaining that beat you, like juggs did way back. but incinerating the middle of a battlefield with your side still fighting in it would really be poor form. I’m glad VG got to do this in such a way that he still had fine control over it
really not sure what’ll become of him right after this, but one can hardly ask for a better ending.
the structured crown of orange flame in the last panel gives me some hope though. but we’ll see.
