Could it be that Allison growing narratively (and visibly) tired is part of the solution to the puzzle? I.e., that the difference between a cycle with a finger on the reset button and one without is the condition of knowing self-sacrifice — a supreme expression of will, easily matching Jagganoth’s, but with a tool equal to the job?
The very low contrast between 001’s glove and boot led me at first to think Alison had cut off her right hand with 001’s own weapon in parrying but no, 001 is just holding the glowing shaft.
Would have been a boss move, though.
