I think this is the first time Allison’s decisively defeated a demiurge, the rest have all been escapes or mixed triumphs at best. It’s been a long journey.
I don’t think you can see enough of the corpse’s forehead to see if there’s a key or a hole there. Also, original body might have done some sort of dying curse thing that created the Worm and eventually THAT form obtained the Key.
Do you feel the fear swell inside that filthy bag of meat? What is it like, to be afraid? Why do you cling to such a pathetic existence? If you could only feel a spark of my glory. I despise my creations, for they have forced me to rely on a speck such as you.

Why does it make me sad that Goggles’ first body is wearing a bonnet that is clearly at least a little bit the inspiration for her whole “twin-tail jester cap” thing?
It’s written in your bones to see the corruption of a being’s wounds and choices upon their soul; It’s written in your name to mourn the whole of how they came to be a dragon in need of slaying.
It is a sad and terrible thing to see, but it must not stay her blade.
I wonder if a missing right arm is also part of the cycle that continues.
Also would love to see gog mourn cio more than Allison.
I feel like we are past implying that gog was one of the first chosen and also a demiurge? Like if that is the case I wonder if they were lovers to cio and an ally to white chain for several maybe millions of loops.
Entering and exiting at the exact same picosecond, and simultaneously annihilating, the Leviathan Revue: an act so mind-meltingly bending-ly that it enters the core of your being and promptly *kicks you out*, theatre now six billion cycles in the making…

So this page confirrms that Allison is Gog and Gog was Allison in all previous cycles and pasts?
Just current Allison is her own person and decided to take action and Gog is other version of Allison very past one in some multiverse variation who decided to run in circles?
Also author is a massive, what is good word to use here, maybe a troll seeing first panels, but that should be expected by now seeing how this comic runs sometimes.
Feel sorry for all readers who were baited by current Allison, you got busted by that while author was also a bit of a coward here not wanting to show Allison husband, if that is Zaid or not, and how her kid looked in some past loop.
I’m laughing from AliCio shippers now and also feel sorry for them cause author jabs at them in all inhumanly way possible with this last reveal.
15 Guards the Darkest Depths and Recites History to the Shores
I think you’ve gloriously missed the point here in terms of reading comprehension. Its the same story everytime but everyone plays different parts. Allison was often meat, sometimes a lover, sometimes just some suburban mum.
Now thanks to Gog she can experience all those memories in both directions.
Allison didnt look back at her child because she has to keep looking fowards and whats in front of her is suffering and heartbreak.
What isnt shown is just as important as what isnt shown.
What is shown, of what author says being around 50 pages of possible extra past content, got shortened to few panels of showing fate of keyless Allison being a mother in a suv and married to some guy Zaid or not and be some suburban wife route going.
Author could easily choose 49 different scenarios going, but he decided to add such boring reveal to his fans now just at the end of story.
Well for me that says a lot about the author if he thinks that is the most important reveal from all these 50 pages of past cycles content here he brags about, that at some cycle Allison got a kid with some guy in it and was a mom, bravo.
And it is a bit sign of conformism and cowardice seeing the outcome not wanting to either show the kid and husband from one side and still deciding to actually show her like that for some strange reason which is completely pointless storywise same as adding extra sexual abuse suffering with Mayu backstory just because she is a woman.
You can argue that the visual shorthand indicates such, but also I’d say that you’re assuming that Allison A: Is married to a guy (She has a wedding band, but she could be married to a non-guy), and B: That kid is her bio kid. Part of the point of this section is highlighting the very, very, very many different ways life can go for Allison based on which cycle she’s in. By consuming Gog, Allison has gained her power, at least in part, to view her other existences in other cycles.
The emphasis here is more on the mundanity of her existence in that cycle, with the specific details of what that life entails left entirely up in the air by the comic medium obfuscating those details.
The author said that the forging of the Maybe Sword was one of the first pieces of the comic ever written, so it probably isn’t something “added on just because.” More like it was a piece of backstory that informed her character through the entire writing process. On top of that, your reading of the current situation strikes me as kind of shallow and self-absorbed.
A lot of women get forced into comphet situations for large parts of their lives, told what they are meant to be, never questioning how bad things feel because suffering for the sake of everyone else and never complaining too loudly is the prescribed fate of women. My own mother is one such person.
She’s happier now; she doesn’t regret us, but she wishes she knew certain things weren’t normal to have to suffer through.
Also like, Bisexuality and Pansexuality exist, my dude.
Nah it is just very basic storytelling how guys think about women sometimes.
If you want to show our special female MC past loops you need to show a normal loop when she doesn’t have a key and is just a proper housewife bound to some guy with a kid variation in it, it is a bit funny that from all possible 50 pages of loops author decided to include these panels in the final page layout.
It is similair to how author showed us Maya sad backstory which of course had to have forced sexual situation in that only cause she is a woman.
Guys don’t get such treatment in this story.
Cliche sadly and disappoitning again.
Just a random, stray thought here – they’re not worms are they? They’re maggots. And maggots are little baby flies. Will we ever see Gog grow up? And will Alison be her boss?
back around pg 70 in this chapter is a insectoid humanoid thing that might be similar to it combined with the first host but there is no fixed final form for gog.
even if we saw the natural culmination of the gog, would it be some alien species of fly or a more familiar sort? Seems moot.
The steering wheel is on the left side of the car, implying she’s in a country that drives on the right, so either Abbadon made a mistake or Allison is simply driving on a one-way-road.
nitpick: I feel there’s a word missing in page 2 panel 7, it would read easier as “now, instead of *me* being a part of you”.
I agree with many that seeing more worlds would have been cool, though I understand that pacing is a thing that exists.
We’ve reached Gog’s first body… or her first *humanoid* body (was she a worm/maggot first, or a human first? And is this really the first, or the first (clearly) remembered? Even if it is the very first, is it the first world to exist (as we were led to believe) or were there (unknowable) ones before?
Go back to the first page of this comic, way way back. And contrast day one Alison in college to this Alison.
I think this is the first time Allison’s decisively defeated a demiurge, the rest have all been escapes or mixed triumphs at best. It’s been a long journey.
The only reason you can’t see Allison’s halo right now is because it’s encircling the outside of the building.
“Nice timeline resetting, dick-nips!”
You can tell shes the worms, because the body doesn’t have a key! (i dont want her to die please shes too swag to die)
I don’t think you can see enough of the corpse’s forehead to see if there’s a key or a hole there. Also, original body might have done some sort of dying curse thing that created the Worm and eventually THAT form obtained the Key.

Seven ropes strung across the branches of the hanging tree.
Seven Demiurges, victors of the Universal War.
Seven fates determined long ago.
Allison looking for the Anti-Life Equation now, oh shit we’re all fucked

Is it weird that when I started reading Allison’s lines, I started reading faster???
Behold, the breaker of wheels…
I think I’m talking for like a big chunk of us but those 50 pages would have been one heck of a trip.
SIDE COMIC PLEASE! (:

Lmao. Genuine fucking dweeb shit.
Where did you get Allison being Gog from? They are very clearly different people.
oh bravo
Prcatically called it in the previous page’s comments that it was going to be her child in the back seat, It’s like Abbadon can hear my thoughts…
Nah it is just very basic storytelling how guys think about women sometimes.

She’s clearly a businesswoman. She’s wearing a suit.
But I guess all women with kids are straight trophy wives to you?
Possibly a lawyer. Also, the ring is on her RIGHT hand, she might not be married. Also fuck people for finding meaning in raising their kids i guess.
Great! Shut the fuck up and shove on, dweeb.
Allison is now truly ascending to godhood! She just utterly subverted a hivemind being who might be potentially millions or billions of years old–
WITHOUT EVEN TRYING VERY HARD.
Just a random, stray thought here – they’re not worms are they? They’re maggots. And maggots are little baby flies. Will we ever see Gog grow up? And will Alison be her boss?

Left hand traffic? Didn’t expect that.
Arguably, the whole scene is mirrored, putting the wedding band on her right hand. IDK if that has significance.
The steering wheel is on the left side of the car, implying she’s in a country that drives on the right, so either Abbadon made a mistake or Allison is simply driving on a one-way-road.
Alison across space and time sounds like a pretty good spinoff plot.
nitpick: I feel there’s a word missing in page 2 panel 7, it would read easier as “now, instead of *me* being a part of you”.

Abbadon has stated Gog was always worms and they were not always sapient. Perhaps the hung girl was a witch and worms somehow obtained her power.
