“Then why haven’t they eaten the entire universe?”
“They easily could, but they won’t.”
“Why?!”
“Because even when you are a near omniscient ocean of consciousness, the greatest enemy is ALWAYS the I.”
A lot of this doesn’t make much sense given what we’ve been told previously, (Risen King Allison contradicts this being Allison’s first time as the heir / Corporate Allison on modern Earth should have Gog presence (to get the memory) since Earth is a sealed plane which would seemingly imply that Gog’s making it up. That sort of seems to imply that Gog’s just making stuff up, or at least is so unreliable a narrator that we can’t rely on anything she’s said.
Because original the very first cycle Allison is Gog herself before she became Worm Queen in another dimension, so no key but memory still is accessible by this cycle current Allison.
I believe what we are seeing is not, in fact, previous cycles, but rather conjured realities Gog Agog is generating in an attempt to keep Allison from breaching into her inner mind – the Matrix is the first, clearly an attempt to shock Allison into thinking she escaped but holds no power now, but is broken down and replaced by Conqueror Allison, which she states to be “Not her memory, Mine.” – which is weird, but I presume is Allison saying that this is another Gog illusion and proceeding to dig deeper. Finally, the corporate/modern Allison is another illusion, one where she never wielded the Key and became successful on Earth.
It isn’t that Gog Agog is an unreliable narrator, its that she’s actively trying to placate Allison and find the perfect illusion to keep her contained and content before she’s forced to have a reckoning with consuming The Rising King.
If Gog is actively lying to Allison now, that would suggest that she’d been lying to Allison previously, and thus anything Gog has said about the nature of the setting or her own history (such as details about what she recalls, her own success in the conflict before she grew disaffected, etc) becomes suspect.
36 Unnerving Heart Ignores The Weight Of the Universe
The rest of the details in the scene suggest it’s not a minor key – Elder Allison is wearing Zoss’ armor (and his arm), and has the same wounds that she’s picked up on this iteration of the loop – facial scarring from Cio, missing eye and arm from the battle with the Jagged one. Those don’t rule out it being a minor key, but the armor (and arm) are pretty indicative that she’s the heir in that scene.
As far as I am aware, Gog hasn’t been hinted as having the ability to freely look forwards and backwards. Evidence suggests she can’t, as she wouldn’t have needed to grow so big if she could (if she can freely look backwards, memory becomes unnecessary, and thus the mass she’s accumulated for storage is also unnecessary). Although, since I’m supposing that she’s just making stuff up at this point, who knows if the mass thing was even true.
I think its implied by the vision of Granny King that Allison is breaking the rules of Gog’s Divine Mind Palace. She’s seen the universe from the outside, after all, which trapped Jadis with perfect knoweldge of her own timeline. Now, she has access to untold numbers of timelines.
Breadth and depth. She’s going up against Zoss who has transcended the wheel.
Allison needs to get on that level.
I am uncertain of your interpretation of events is true – the direct correlation between Allison flinching away from the shape of the universe and her current antics is unclear, to me at least. Regardless, to your point about Zoss, is Allison really going up against him? As far as we know, Zoss is forced to perform the resets, and he seems to be doing his best at encouraging Allison’s deviation from the norm suggesting he wants to break the loop as well. One suspects that the one Allison is opposing is Zoss’ controller – implied to be Metatron, I think.
—it reaches out it reaches out it reaches out it reaches out— One hundred and thirteen times a second, nothing answers and it reaches out. It is not conscious, though parts of it are. There are structures within it that were once separate organisms; aboriginal, evolved, and complex. It is designed to improvise, to use what is there and then move on. Good enough is good enough, and so the artifacts are ignored or adapted. The conscious parts try to make sense of the reaching out. Try to interpret it.
This is a bit nonsensical, how come Allison can now look into her own memories buried in Gog consciousness of many past cycles like that even in ones she didn’t get the key?
Does it mean that this scenario we are having now as KSBD current story already happened multiple times in some variations for Allison and this is not the first time Allison got the key, or lost Cio and got mutilated, gone for revenge, decided to keep arm and leg or not get the key at all, but first one she decided to join the Worm willingly so she can use it?
Or it means that in all previous cycles Gog managed to eat or turn Allison into her worm slave, cause if not then there’s no way Allison own personal memories can lie in Gog mind for finding out like that cause why should they?
Gog can’t have Allison own personal memories of previous cycles and Allison should not be able to access them from her if Gog is not connected in some way to Allison in these past cycles.
Actually wait no, it’s just Alison gaining access to Gog’s memory storage ability. She’s using Gog as a medium for past life recall.
The only reason Gog remembers the resets is A) She has found a way to survive the resets and B) She has found a way to store all the memory of each cycle.
Therefore everyone potentially has access to their mind/lifestream memories if they could survive the reset and find a way to store all that data.
Maybe they are not the past or a simulation. What if Gog is continuing though cycles as Allison is consuming Gog. That’s going to take a while.
A few more cycles with Allison in them with some minor differences. Allison will come out ready to go and cycles have happened in between.
Imagine if at the back of the car is a baby. Allison’s baby. Talk about the sacrifice that will have to be. Who could possibly sacrifice their own baby?
?????? if we are seeing it in the gog space then the baby is already dead. this is a pre-sacrificed baby. preemptively dead baby. already eaten by worms to be even shown here baby. converted into meat and absorbed into the mass potentially even as an adult because these are that allison’s memories baby. erased from causality anyway before we got here baby.
also not even hers, belongs to the other allison, which is also why she bounced on living happily with her girlfriend (assuming THAT was even real because that would imply she had the key in a previous cycle which doesn’t line up either).
at absolute BEST, this isn’t even a past cycle and is just some stuff gog is making up in which case yeah sacrificing a fake baby that she’s never expressed interest in having to begin with is not gonna be too tough for her i think?
but also if that baby is real it’s been super, super dead and eaten by worms trillions upon trillions of years ago.
“Then why haven’t they eaten the entire universe?”
“They easily could, but they won’t.”
“Why?!”
“Because even when you are a near omniscient ocean of consciousness, the greatest enemy is ALWAYS the I.”
– On the Ironcourt and its Three heads.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
I thought this cycle was unique because Allison has the Key instead of Zaids, that this had never happened before.
Doubt that
Nobody said anything about these being memories of the past. I think they’re memories of the future.
Possibilities among possibilities, I wonder if Alice wants to go down this rabbit hole after all.
Hrmm… Reckon there’s a “Don’t Fear the Reaper” reference to be made here, what with Gog’s wicked scythe. Bring on the cowbell!
I love this comic so much!
Each time I think it’s slowing down, it starts gas ning speed back again.
Magnificent work.

Shouldn’t have Gog presence…
Woof. Clearly the proof reading was weak with me on this one.
Because original the very first cycle Allison is Gog herself before she became Worm Queen in another dimension, so no key but memory still is accessible by this cycle current Allison.
That doesn’t make any sense

The key in her forehead might be a minor key, which would remove the contradiction.
Or, more simply. They’re memories of the future.
Allison and Gog are looking forward into the amber, as well as backward.
Predestination is real, remember?
As far as I am aware, Gog hasn’t been hinted as having the ability to freely look forwards and backwards. Why is there always a meat dimension?
There is no Alison that is not my favorite one.
Everything Everywhere Al-Yis-Un
If the worms gaze for long into Allison, Allison also gazes into the worm.
Gog-Agog
Harvester of Aeons
Oooh, so many different Allisons we get to see

I love this reference as I love The Expanse
Hmm, her nails.
So she’s not a lesbian in this timeline.
this comment fucking killed me
that wrist turn from Everything Everywhere All At Once… i see u. i see u.
this is so fucking exciting. ultselves in my ksbd. fuck yes
If memories are so true, they are indistinguishable from reality, does it makes them just as real as reality itself? Just different facet.
i wonder if abaddon has watched everything everywhere all at once

Fascinating.
Gog said they don’t remember the beginning, the first or first few cycles, and they nearly surpassed the conquering king…
Is Gog Alison’s Shadow?
Actually wait no, it’s just Alison gaining access to Gog’s memory storage ability. She’s using Gog as a medium for past life recall.

Alison’s hijacking Gog for her own purposes.
Maybe they are not the past or a simulation. What if Gog is continuing though cycles as Allison is consuming Gog. That’s going to take a while.

The worm spires kinda make me think of kebab-agog.
Better Call Gog
