The middle panel of White Chain sinking down trailing bubbles is just outstanding. The black/green cloudy waters, the beams of light from the surface… so simple and so fine.
I find it hard to believe that WC didn’t even try to get used to her new body in combat. Are there no hoodlums to beat? Are the criminal gangs not there? Because those are throne hoodlums we’re talking about-surely they could provide her with at least a bit of a challenge, even after “she got back to shape”, for lack of a better term.
There is a short ballad I’ve oft heard repeated amongst certain quarters the people, entitled “the Rules of Nature.” It is a pithy ditty, violent in verbiage and score, told from the point of view of a wayward knight (some say Peregrine, others say Belligerent) questioning his place in a world of beasts. While I find it invigorating at a primal level, spiritually, it is empty – for neither kings nor angels feel the urge to make that same query.
On the one hand it is not like White Chain had all that much time to herself but on the other having a new powerful body like this practically begs to be tested and trained.
this trout is too powerful
We’re gonna need a bigger ice floe.
White chain is still figuring out the Demiurge Meta.
Meahwhile the sword-whale is using COMBOS!
The comic’s title holds a clue. 😉
Sometimes you eat the fish, and sometimes, well.
The master of Koi rata makes its appearance!
Koi rata, heh. You really tipped the scales on that one.
Can’t carp about it. There’s always a plaice for a good pun.
“What? They have a leviathan? Here??”
Giant Fish dashes, smashes.
Dancing through icy waters,
Giant Fish says nothing.
Its clarity of purpose
ringing like a battlefield cry.
I’m telling you guys, we should set this fish up with Mammon’s old crew. It’s perfect.
The fuck is UP with this FISH
Preem Fish has it all figured out. Observe, the sacred action is to cut!
They even have a blade on their face for it.
Is there a beast more cursed and divine than one with a cutter for a face.

This is going to be like that scene where Jim Carey busts out of the rhino.
The fishing sure isn’t what it used to be.
The food here ain’t so good no more either.
Revenge is a fish best served cold.
If you were eaten, you have at least two ways to exit…
The beast’s hide is too thick to be pierced from outside!
From inside it’s no thinner

Ah, the old “Kill it from the inside” ploy.
>:=)>
Pretty sure the splash as the fish swings its… sword… makes the shape of a demiurge’s halo.

About 50/50 Rando Doura and 7th Colossus here?
