Even by KSBD standards this is a high-impact scene, but some of it’s getting lost in the arrangement of panels. Panels #5 and #6 ought to be scary AF. I mean, trapped in the dark, wrapped up in gigatons of ick, then eyes the size of minibuses open their hostile gaze on you: this is a nightmare. But the immediate horror was lost because my eye skipped ahead to the final panel. Spread over a couple more pages it could work better.
Well, Gog ain’t exactly the only god present. She’s just the second or third one (if you count Allison/Chaos) to re-remember how to do *this* – how to “mantle her transcendent core”.
It’s time for the other demiurges to finally step up and start trying, at the price of discarding their comfortable facades and showing their true selves, for all the universe to revolt at.
Interesting that she chooses to recreate binocular faces again, this time vertebrate reptilian. This form is no more true than a harlequin. But distressing, or overawing, that it certainly is. Don’t mind me, I’m just looking.
Ay yi yi. If this isn’t her final form…I’m not sure I want to see her final form.
Multiple tributes on this page…Abbadon strokes it out of the park again.
But I wonder how she fights? It seems that her strength – besides the overwhelming gross-out factor – is her overwhelming mass, so is she just gonna glom onto Jaggy and smother him?
Gog Agog is a crowd of spectators all by himself. How will that serve him in combat however?? Do he intends to have each instance write a strongly worded letter against the infinte-sword-arms-doomsday demon that is 40 meters high??
I like the detail that no matter what direction you are viewing our red buddy’s ultimate form from, his arms continue out into the distance behind him- it gives the sense that his form has more than 3 dimensions and that odd perspective is just the best our minds can interpret it.
Also I love Gog putting in a little effort here, GO most cheerful Demiurge, Be the stage!
42 Fragments the Universe Beyond All Reintegration
Yep. The alternative, that his actual, physical form varies according to how he’s observed, hurts my brain. That objective, observed reality not be single-valued is high-end QF.
I love how no one has considered that Jaganoth by be lying or have been lied to. He might very well not be the one who recycles the wheel each time, their may have never been a time before, everything he said could quite simply be wrong.
The laws of narrative dictate that when the villain broods ominously and spouts tiger poetry what he is saying is probably the truth. I mean he’s not going go out and say”I pranked yo real good bro” before destroying the universe, he might as well tell the truth.
Interesting reversal of custom: most Gog conversions involve a person eating a worm and are consensual. This looks about to be the other way round, and utterly non-consensual. Also messy.
Gog-Agog harlequins pop out of space-time by the zillions, rip themselves apart and form a giant hollow meatball encasing the other six demiurges and our Allison-Cio-White Chain protagonist(s).
That’s the orb in panel 3 floating above the planet, right?
Everything goes dark, then eyes start opening and allllll those green faces are revealed.
She’s encased them in herself. I mean, how everlovin’ gross is THAT? Her faces are green but man, I’d be turning green myself.

Agreed. this could have been a 3-4 page spread and held WAY more impact.

FOR IT IS THE WORM THAT WALK!
IA IA!!!
AND THAT THE GROUND IT TREADS BECOMES WORM, AND THE WORM BECOMES THE GROUND, AND BEFORE LONG, THE WORM IS ALL AND ALL IS THE WORM!
Dear Gog! The Worm sees all, is all! My Agog!
Fools! This isn’t even my final form!
Someone had to say it…
In Gog we trust.

Something seems strange about the Red God’s arm that is hanging “behind.” Something to keep an eye on in the future.

Looks like Mottom’s dead.
Nah, zoom in and you can see her caped figure still riding the dragon. Superfluous maybe, but not dead yet.
WORM OFF THE STRING. WHAT WORLDS WILL SHE DEVOUR?
Getting a flashback to Adventure Time, the episode in alternate reality created by The Wish.
Oh, good…a “Flesh Moon”, a “World-Gog”. A fyckin’…”Ew”.
SUPER WORM MOON
The Mass remembers! The Mass is immortal! And most of all..
The Mass always wins.
You will serve the biomass! Your individuality will be added to the biomass. Surrender your meats!
Nice comic, i like that

is Jag’s ultimate form just the infinite sword glitch?
Quantity is a quality all on its own.

I don’t know what she’s gonna do next but…zowie!
That is not a place I would want to be.
What does it smell like in there I wonder?
haha
Well, if that is a rubber suit….
