I’ve got to wonder the mechanics of this whole transformation. Like, Allison and Cio being able to from Allicio made sense- it was just Allison putting on Cio’s mask, and that was something that was established as being possible already. But I’m… unclear on this. Is White Chain’s astral form using Allicio as a body? I feel like if this was ever set up as being possible, I missed it.
I was confused by this too, but Allicio is an entirely new body made from both their flames, Im sure Cio’s hungering black flame would be capable of breaking an additional body, especially considering how flexible WC is right now
Also like, all the inheritors were made from portions the same stuff – “the flame immortal, the infinite and sustained essence of YISUN.” Why should mixing them all back together be impossible for a trio sufficiently foolish to not know otherwise?

I would like to point out the beauty of Allicio’s expression in panel 3. The Cio eyes are very “press X to doubt” and the Allison eyes are like “oh holy shit that could work.” It’s very good.
That is some incredibly Royal thinking from Allison. She doesn’t stop to question the feasibility of White Chain’s idea for even a second; there is only a moment of realization followed by action. Even though something like this is probably unheard of in Throne (and perhaps in part due to Allison’s ignorance of that) she just goes for it at full force, fully confident that it’s going to work.
And it does.
Because that’s how Royalty do.
Yes. It’s also exactly the approach that wakes up the master key. Allison’s use of the key is limited by how much and how specifically she wants things, and she does want this. So does Cio, I think.
