Wielder of Names 6-111
Lord Intra gathered his retainers, who were hungry for tutelage. “Lord Intra!” said his sandal bearer, “What is the first step on the path to Royalty?”
“There are no steps,” replied Intra, “It is zero-sum with your reality. It is not measured in finger-lengths.”
“Lord Intra,” said his bodyguard, “Is the path to Royalty the path of struggle, then?”
“No,” said Intra, “One may attain it without any effort at all. It is, in fact, the antithesis of struggle.”
Intra’s steward was very discontent with his master’s evasiveness. “Lord,” he said, “Allow us lowly men some small measure of understanding. For sympathy’s sake, and the sake of we good and loyal servants, please tell us in plain language the nature of Royalty.”
“I will tell you precisely what Royalty is,” said Intra, “It is a continuous cutting motion.”

The true master may cut even the strongest of stones without ever drawing a blade.
To cut is not to divide, for all things are already divided. To cut is merely to decree their separation.
Those marked will force all things to yield and comply.
I bet he bleeds tea.
If only we were so lucky
She wields her name well.
That’s just freakin’ awesome.
Many people I speak to have a poor understanding of prosthetics.
The musician, once settled in their instrument, does not think of fingers and lips.
They simply play an E
Maya doesn’t think of the ten buttons in the combo, she simply performs the attack.
Brb, suddenly having wild, giddy dreams about a KSBD fighting game.
Once, on my travels, I rested beside a river where a great many bears stood fishing. Each held court in its own small eddy or pool, waiting for the few fish fool enough to seek the ease of calmer waters.
As I lounged, a fisherman came upon the scene. We chatting well enough awhile, when he suddenly bade me look up the river. Pacing upstream came an old, mongrel bear, her hide scarred by struggle, her movements fluid as a dancer even in the considerable current. As she walked, it seemed she slipped through the eddies and rapids in the water like they were the spaces between sheets on a drying line. As she passed, each bear lowered it’s head to her, and did not resume it’s hunt until she had passed. Every so often, the great matron bear would stoop her head and snatch a fat fish from the current.
The fisherman marveled, as he likely had many a time before, that the bears would prostrate themselves to this old, disheveled bear like she were a queen. “Why would they not?” I asked. “She walks the waters with an ease they cannot match, for fear of what it will cost them to learn. She is more than queen of the bears. She is Royalty.”
Ho-hee, ho-hii! I am the great bard Jawis-Tel, singer of songs, teller of tales, surely you have heard of me. But I, nor the rest of my brotherhood, are aware of these bears you speak of. A tale to tell is a tale to be told to me, JAWIS-TEL! If you have more stories to speak of, speak of them to me.
Wow, 6 Juggernaut Star is half the man he used to be.
He seems to be beside himself, in fact.
He shouldn’t get divided about this, and try to hold together.
Let’s cut to the point, aren’t angel’s walking nuclear explosions?
Maybe Maya should make like a bananna and split, chop chop.
I imagine this is just a slice of Maya’s daily life. She seems to deal with her problems in smaller pieces.
6 Juggernaut star appears to be of two minds on the subject.
Swords
Be it from either’s hand, the 108 pursuers were dead the moment they gave chase.
Anyone should feel honored to die to such a beautiful strike.
Oh, see how finely she has spit his worthless spiny shell. When will my own stone feel the kiss of that blade? 6 – I’m sorry, 7 Juggernaut is living out my deepest fantasies, I’ll tell you what.
I wasn’t aware that my brothersisters had developed such weird fantasies. While I court female Demiurges and am proud of it, I must admit I take no pride in dying doing so.
You must spend more time around devils. Death is but a least frightening outcome of such courtship rituals.
He who wields it becomes self-known!
Getsuga Tenshou.
While the title of ‘wrong’ has suited me well before, this time I feel I am ‘right’ when I ask; don’t angels explode without their armour?
We do.
Ouch.
There can be no doubt as to from whose line of swordsmanship she hails.
well that just happened…!!!
well that escalated quickly
Ummm, I don’t want to split hairs here, but your half is bigger than my half.
…and topple their thorns, perhaps?
Well, that lasted precisely as long as expected.
Juggernaut Star is an adherent of Fighting. Auntie Maya is a student of Cutting. The Thorn Knight never stood a chance.
daaaayyyyyymm!
Noodles got game.
I do hope 7 Juggernaut Star enjoyed his tea.
One cut. That’s all that she needed.
