Holy crap your outputs insane recently. Also, you’re now imagining Metatron walking with that weird bird walk (with its head sticking out a lil each step)
Pretty confident the crow-angel is 2 Michael, as seen at the beginning of the chapter. Generally the same face (complete with chin and crown), same curt, commanding style of speech.
I think Metatron was the angel in the last panel that’s covered in bird-eyeball-wing cracks and speaking the glowing, dripping word of power.
It’s fascinating how different the Thorns appear from the other angels. They lack the distinctive wings and eyes enitrely and have forms resembling those of the golems, and the they’re-in-bodies impression is further supported looking at the “new body” offered to our monk here. Looks almost like they’re partially wearing and constrained by bodies, even here. Perhaps that is due to their covenant with that Master (be that Metatron, Michael, or as I suspect someone else entirely). Time will tell, I’m sure.
I’ll have to look through the older pictures, but our spokes-thorn here has only the two major spurs on his back. They look like the nubs of cut off wings.
Or the sphinx at the gate, with a crown but no head. (if you have the chance, kiss that one. burned lips are a small price, they are an excellent kisser, if you have the trick of it)
Their shapes change over time to match their minds, but what we see here is simply how 2 Michael looks inside the Void. This is his true form. The body we saw him with before was simply a shell to contain his form. It’s the same with all other angels.
How can he be present in the Void if his body is still in Throne? Can angels temporarily leave their bodies to visit their fallen brethren in the Void?
I think we all more or less suspected that he was the one running the operation. The face is certainly the same, and so is the “end of the world” crap…
The Blood of Angels light many a Devil’s Glowstick. On an aside, the brow is not heavy enough for the best bird to be Metatron’s original form, but this is likely his second if not a reincarnation.
Well now, this is an interesting development. 2 Michael, out of his armor, and working with the Thorns to boot!
The Prime must not be in the habit of examining his own words. “Not all acts of evil are foolish, and not all acts of good are wise.” Such a statement merely distracts from the fact that when committing an act of evil, one has to constantly question their own wisdom.
In his folly, 2 Michael is committing the exact same sin that the humans made in the Second Conquest. He seeks to ignite a great conflict, bearing in himself the desire to claim as much of the spoils as possible.
But then again, it may not be folly; it remains to be seen how well the angels would survive a second war. 2 Michael must be confident in his power, indeed, to think that the new king could not strike them down the way the old one did! And after all, one reaches heaven through violence, and it shall ever be inherited by the victors.
6 Juggernaut Star Scours the Universe’s “ah-ah-ah” finger is worthy of comment.
Also, I’m curious as to what 12 Questioning Fate and co will do in reaction to 2 Michael’s apparent betrayal. Somehow I doubt they’ll rebel.
2 Who Is Like God? Very curious indeed. He called the Thorns an evil path, and implied that them getting the key in Allison’s head would be a terrible thing. But here the old Prime seems on quite good terms with the Speaker for Thorns? And Juggernaut Star seems to respect him, but doesn’t think he is in danger.
Cooperation between the leadership of the Concordance and the Thorns. Very curious, and troubling.
So 2nd Michael plays both sides of the board. Sneaky, very sneaky my friend, I like this one.
The question is if He/She/It/Nu (2nd Michael) use both groups for his purpose, what’s the purpose? He/She/It/Nu can lie to both groups.
So, to be clear, all those eyeless red bodies belong to 6 Juggernaut, right? Or are they Thorns whose took the concept of blind devotion to a whole new level?
That’d be a lot of body to handle, given that there’s also the skeleton motorcycle being allegedly part of him. I’d expect that he’d have other thorn knights patroling main base of oeprations at all for when he’s not there, but it does strike me as notable how similar they are in form.
I figure it is representative how much conformity and obeidence are valued among the thron knights, which would suggest your second-mentioned possibility.
Holy crap your outputs insane recently. Also, you’re now imagining Metatron walking with that weird bird walk (with its head sticking out a lil each step)
we have the same name, but you’re all uppercase. hello birdfriend. :v
When castles speak, commanders best listen.
Which angel is this crow? Do we know?
From the look of the face, and their mention of White Chain as a student, that would appear to be 2 Michael.
Looks an awfull lot like 2 Michael to me.
pretty sure it’s 2 Michael
Pretty sure it’s white Chain’s master. The one who banished her. Guess he come and go as he pleases.
I do believe that is white chsins erstwhile master, 1-michael
2 Michael, White Chain’s master.
Pretty confident the crow-angel is 2 Michael, as seen at the beginning of the chapter. Generally the same face (complete with chin and crown), same curt, commanding style of speech.

but not all angels are humanoid
=//=
JUST ASK THE POLYGON WITH A CROWN!
Almost all the non-thorns have wings and eyes, though, and the thorns all look really similar (even back to their first appearance at the start)
Or the sphinx at the gate, with a crown but no head. (if you have the chance, kiss that one. burned lips are a small price, they are an excellent kisser, if you have the trick of it)
The angel before the assemblance can be identified is 2 Michael, Wielder of the White Flame, First Among the Secondborn.

I think it’s 2 Michael.
Is that goddamn 2 Michael?
Looks like him, but since when can angels alter their shape?
Their shapes change over time to match their minds, but what we see here is simply how 2 Michael looks inside the Void. This is his true form. The body we saw him with before was simply a shell to contain his form. It’s the same with all other angels.
True. I forgot we’d only seen him in his “mortal” armor before.
That is his true shape outside his armor.
Dag nabbit good stuff you whprsersnappeip!
He hasn’t. Before we saw him in his stone body, here he is in the spirit realm.
This is his true form in the void, much like White Chain’s
How can he be present in the Void if his body is still in Throne? Can angels temporarily leave their bodies to visit their fallen brethren in the Void?
Mwahahahahahaha that angel’s head is just three knives! Officially best angel.
Also don’t trust Splitpin. I can assure you he’s an ass.
Does that angel hold a key? Its got a rad design, either way.
(Happily chants “Knife head! Knife head!” over and over again)
No. Is that…2 Michael?
Is he the secret leader of the Thorns?
The universe is supremely screwed.
I think we all more or less suspected that he was the one running the operation. The face is certainly the same, and so is the “end of the world” crap…
O hai Mikey, how’s it hanging?
Been there, done that.
The Blood of Angels light many a Devil’s Glowstick. On an aside, the brow is not heavy enough for the best bird to be Metatron’s original form, but this is likely his second if not a reincarnation.
I believe I recognize Michael.
Both from appearance and philosophy.

RETURN OF 2 MICHAEL
His face looks suspiciously similar to 2 Michael’s.
I believe that’s 2 Michael, gone from his armor, and come into the Void.
Well now, this is an interesting development. 2 Michael, out of his armor, and working with the Thorns to boot!

Time will tell who will win, now won’t it?
Doesn’t Michael just want to burn it all down and then see if anything worth protecting rises from the ashes?
Not all acts of evil are foolish, and not all acts of good are wise. Let us always strive to be Wise.”
Remember to be mindful of your mentors.
If it is often that those we admire betray us, it is only because we fail to see what they have openly shown us all along.
And if 2 Michael has shown anything, is it his deep hatred for this aeon of humanity.
2 Mike, just so you know, that’s what we in bird culture refer to as “a dick move”
What’s the dick move you’re talking about? All he’s done is show up so far.
He seems to be on quite respectful terms with Juggernaut Star, which is distressing. They appeared to be opposed leadership until now.
*Nods approvingly*
Time to flip the bird
6 Juggernaut Star Scours the Universe’s “ah-ah-ah” finger is worthy of comment.
Also, I’m curious as to what 12 Questioning Fate and co will do in reaction to 2 Michael’s apparent betrayal. Somehow I doubt they’ll rebel.
6 Juggernaut fights like I do in dwarf fortress, run up, grab the neck, and jump.
I’ll be fine, will you?
Conspiring Wretch
2 Who Is Like God? Very curious indeed. He called the Thorns an evil path, and implied that them getting the key in Allison’s head would be a terrible thing. Umm, no actually it was White Chain that called it “An evil path.”
2 michael you motherfucker
“White Chain, reach in that bag and hand me my sword.”
‘Wh-which one is it, master?’
*that stare*
“It’s the one that says ‘Bad Motherfucker’…”
No ! You foolish angel !
WHY ARE YOU REFUSING THE PROPHECY ?
May YISUN protect the heir ! Ayyyyyyy !!!
So 2nd Michael plays both sides of the board. Sneaky, very sneaky my friend, I like this one.
The question is if He/She/It/Nu (2nd Michael) use both groups for his purpose, what’s the purpose? He/She/It/Nu can lie to both groups.
Oh come on Michael is pretty clearly a he or an it (probably he), save yourself some key strokes.
So, to be clear, all those eyeless red bodies belong to 6 Juggernaut, right? Or are they Thorns whose took the concept of blind devotion to a whole new level?
You raise an interesting point, but I was under the assumption that they were all Thorn Angels.
That’d be a lot of body to handle, given that there’s also the skeleton motorcycle being allegedly part of him. I’d expect that he’d have other thorn knights patroling main base of oeprations at all for when he’s not there, but it does strike me as notable how similar they are in form.

Can an angel inhabit more than one vessel at a time?
