I’m surprised the ebon devil would be foolish enough to allow Cio to cheat for allison.
You assume Vladok intends to win.

You assume Vladok NEEDS to cheat. The devil saw that chicanery and thinks “bring it on, little devil! I’ll best your tricks as easily as I best your girl’s liver!”

A simple question from the depth, is that red devil liquor?, does it make a red devil grow inside you?, if a blue devil gives you the power of tongues, what power does the body of a red devil gives you?
What I’m wondering is why Cio is human-sized instead of imp-sized like all the other Blue Devils we’ve seen. Is she on the threshold to becoming a Red devil, or something?
From some reason I’m imagining Cio’s singing voice being very similar to that of Agnete Kjølsrud, namely the way she sounds in Dimmu Borgir’s “Gateways”.

Many will, no doubt, craft a tune of merryment or popular knowledge. I fashion a slow, dramatic rhytm of leather and speakesies, not quite funerarian but not merry in the slightest.
But, of course, this is a lie.
