I really missed the Au Vam commentary ngl. He’s probably my favorite of the unseen lore characters, minus maybe Intra.
While on this topic, I’m wondering if someone else who pays attention to the commentaries can clear something up for me: Was the Yellow City on Rayuba? Yemmod (the demiurge Solomon killed to win his key) is said to have conquered both the Blue City and Rayuba, but were these also both in the same place?
On my latest reread, I’ve been trying to get the timeline of the universal war straight in my head, and boy has it been a struggle to order the ascendance of each of the Seven!
The Yellow city floated in Throne, like a moon around the wheel. It was one of six (maybe 7) colour cities built by the Demiurges pre-Universal war. Massive undertakings one and all that were destroyed in the War. There’s a quote/comment from Abbaddon somewhere about them but that’s pretty much all we know.
Hmmmm… I do believe this is the first time we’re seeing a Demiurge going *ALL OUT*… I think Gog-Agog is about to teach Alison a thing or two about what the Keys can actually do.
Solomon went all out, quite literally. He didn’t have anything left. But the Beast is stronger.
