Gog-Agog fighting is the equivalent of finding that one build in Diablo and just walking into any dungeon watching every ability and effect auto-proc like an eldritch mob-clearing lawnmower nightmare.
I love that those mind-shriven berserkers are just completely unreactive to one of the Seven strolling up and doing some some stretches in preparation for mulching them.
Considering the kind of nightmarish blood minimisation Incubus probably had them subjected to in order to burn the fear of them, I think a lot of them would welcome death.
“For it is of old rumour that the soul of the devil-bought hastes not from his charnel clay, but fats and instructs the very worm that gnaws; till out of corruption horrid life springs, and the dull scavengers of earth wax crafty to vex it and swell monstrous to plague it. Great holes secretly are digged where earth’s pores ought to suffice, and things have learnt to walk that ought to crawl.”

Oh no… I’ve caught up… I’ve been binging this for like, the past three days and couldn’t get enough of it. I’d last read when Wheel-Smashing Lord had just started, but fell off as I forgot about it between updates… some part of me is thankful I did that, as it only gave time for more and more of this glorious story to pile up – and it is glorious, because fucking hell this story is beautiful.
Props to Abaddon for what you’ve written here; it’s like a love letter to all the things I love – cultivation, anime, fantasy, and just general weirdness. And man has it made me feel things… Cio’s death will never stop hurting, but as the Rising King says that was in the past, and all we can do is move forward. In this case, that means suffering with everyone else as we wait for new chapters.
God, I love this story – to reiterate, thank you for this Abaddon.
I have never doubted the power of a Demiurge, yet to see The Worm in action so does shake the soul. Every foe vanquished slays a dozen of its former comrades in turn, and those do the same, feeding a wretched cycle until there are none left to devour.
Such ravenous ferocity does the strike alone bear. Far more fitting of the word BEAST than I could have ever imagined.
She probably should have said “Do it” a little bit earlier, maybe before her forces got absolutely fuckin shithoused? I dunno seems like a waste of a perfectly good Over Half Her Army
Gog herself said she’ll only give ’em seven minutes, and with the power she can dish out it’s perfectly valid to keep her in reserve given that they still need to fight Jaggy Nuts after all of this. Should she have waited so long? No, but I can’t blame Allison for not wanting to use her willy-nilly, given how hind-sight is 20/20.
Dawg, she only gets a few minutes of gog. Why would she blow the whole thing on the first wave of enemies? You don’t pop your ult the second it comes up.
Because there’s a demiurge in that first wave and he totally wiped out her fleet and half of her ground forces including Zaid and likely Nyave too? Maya can’t hold off Incubus either or she wouldn’t be trying so hard (and failing) at getting to her. And as long as we’re talking MOBAs, you also don’t let half your fuckin team die with your “prevent half your team from dying” ult unused
The only useful character who’s (maybe) died is Zaid. War isn’t a moba, but if it was, essentially the whole team is still up. You don’t pop your ult to protect the lane minions.
I’m very glad she’s OUR good pal Gog-a-Gog…
I knew what to expect but still, like.
Oh.

Gog Agog technique: Failure Cascade.
Entry of the Gladiators intensifies

What kind of weakling uses others to kill for them? And further, what kind of weakling uses ranged attacks.
Smart ones
What do you mean “uses others?” Those worms are 100% Gog, zero additives, zero artificial colors. That makes every infection a melee attack
In many ways this is the opposite of killing them.
She can’t talk right now she’s doing hot worm shit

So that’s what happened to the Armgeddon Steel Legion.
Is cascading worm infection a continuous cutting motion?
She got that Thing in her
