Apart from the questions about how those godships are *balanced* (at rest) … what even is their *propulsion*? If godbone had the capability to start moving around all by itself, a lot of the statues we’ve seen over time wouldn’t be harmlessly floating overhead but wrecking homes all over the place …
Does Ummon have any god material in it or is that just a turtle with a keg fragment? Is it a regular big turtle or are they a servant race? What the hell is their backstory?! This is like the Lord of the Lake all over again, where has the religious extremist flying ship turtle been this whole story?!
Huh, lots of guns here. Abbadon once said that Jagganoth was the one hoarding all the military technology, so I dread to think what his army is going to look like.
Grinning, furry vikings? You know what, I like them.
Everyone just have that “we almost assuredly will die today, but at least we’re going down in style” energy pouring out of them in waves, it’s endearing. I’ll strive to fondly remember them.
We have Yamga II for Solomon, Paraga for Mottom, Kaukat for Mammon, Krys for Gog-agog, Ummon for Jadis, and I think Lokan is for Jagganoth. we’re still missing the anti-Incubus Godship.
svelben is a fringe world of the celestial empire, so if anything it’d be for solomon, if he wasn’t already accounted for. methinks abbadon just wanted to draw catboys again.
Discovered this comic and BINGED all of it in two weeks. Amazing amazing art and beautifully wrought story. Especially enjoyed the lore unpacks in the comments added a lot of depth to the world. Thank you for sharing your talent with us Abbadon!
i count godships headed by the misfit revolutionaries of solomon david, mottom, mammon, gog-agog, and now jadis. is lokan for incubus or jagganoth, then? svelben was said to be a fringe world of the celestial empire, but salami dave is already accounted for… maybe the catboys just wanted in on the bloodshed, thematics be damned.
By the Moons, Airships conquer the skies has gone wild.

Devil engines my friend. Same ones that propel the regular flying ships. Yamga has a whole set of major ones, one for each wing.
That’s sorta the point: Yamga had *wings*. Half the other ships we’ve been shown, if not more, don’t …

What difference would a big turtle have made to the rest of the story? The Wheel contains unfathomably many things that we have not seen.

I think Lokan is for Incubus.
The other demiurges ruled their worlds, which left space to rebel — JAGGANOTH destroyed all he found, and the void has no rebellious fire left to it.

Those aren’t catboys, those are cat MEN
Just a FEW more, as a treat.
Kilrathi spotted
Oh the Many-Winged turtle!
Hmmm… very impressive. But where do the thorn knights fall in this war? Who will they fight with?
They serve Metatron and thus fall into Jagganoth’s camp
I am eagerly anticipating the next 7 pages of just godships and their crews.

If any of these god statues have the same limited mobility that is found in the Angel buses, it’s the Lokan swinging axes.
Gunfight Rule #4 :
Bring ALL your friends who have guns.
Honest to Gob I wouldn’t mind a whole book of just this kind of thing.

That’s a lot of dead men.
This chapter is actually more dramatic than I thought.
