WHEEL SMASHING LORD 3-93
Chapter: 3
Thanks very much for reading! I’m taking about a month and a bit leave from work for the imminent arrival of my second child. The comic will return in early July. In the meantime this is probably a great time to catch up if you are returning after not reading for a while.
See you then,
– Abbadon
Time to sin
i read this in henchman 24s voice XD
@Abbadon
I curse you to 17 of the 24 worst hells for leaving us on a cliffhanger like this!
OK but seriously good luck with everything and I wish your family all the best.
Oh no
There, the young ones are all aboard. Captain Diego and I have sealed off deck 3. He and I are now of one mind… our bodies are changing too. Sometimes it hurts terribly and sometimes it is… marvelous… something wonderful is happening to me…
so like a minute prior she was talking about how dumb the grub is, and now she decides to munch it because?????? just destroy it with girl power magic or whatever. this is contrived.
Much of the comic starting with the end of the tournament arc has felt off to me, and this got a big huh???? from me too.
The pace sure has increased since the tournament but the story was pretty amazing imo.
Do you really think that Gog-Agog, the King of Worms, only has one worm? Especially since she offered Alison a different one earlier? Destroying the worms won’t stop Gog. Either Alison eats one, or Nukoku does.
Precisely! I think what is going on here is Allison telling Cio “You wanna eat the worm? I’ll show you what happens when you eat the fuckin’ worm!”
Wait, there’s a clap. Did she crush the worm before inexplicably putting it in her mouth? Or did she eat it intact? If she crushed it, why put it in her mouth instead of wiping it on her pants or something normal? If she was capturing it intact, why clap it with her hands, instead of grabbing it like a normal person? In short, why is Allison so weird?
I read the CLAP as the sonic boom of her immensely quick leap. She too fast for she heck’n frame.
I read the clap as the sound of one hand clapping. A Zen thing.
Me when I see someone else trying to eat the last gummy bear in the pack
Gummy *worms* was RIGHT THERE
“Would you still love me, if I was a worm?”said YISUN, smiling in the secret 34th way
We have to sit on this cliffhanger for a month and a half.
I am going to eat my own leg.
Not if I eat it first!
So… does a splatted gog-agog still work?
I was wondering the same thing. I think that it does still work, because the GogWorm is more conceptual than biological. After all, you don’t really eat the worm, the worm eats you.
As ever, I understand and support your need for your life to come first, and appreciate the comic nonetheless.
But also, please understand, I am screaming and shaking and tearing my clothes and beating my chest et cetera et cetera
oh worm?
I was thinking earlier it’d be funny if Nukoko actually took the mask from priest-Gog instead of the worm, but also, she can now politely walk down the stairs now and take the worm that was offered by the other Gog earlier. Or probably take one from basically any other Gog anywhere in the world.
You know, because the whole presentation with the stairs is an arbitrary thing that has no bearing on the actual accessibility of getting wormed, and Alison is really letting the weight of ceremony get to her here, putting her in more of a sense of panic than she’d be in otherwise.
Also, I am kind of curious what Gog would get from Nukoko in particular anyway. She can probably get random unbound devils pretty easily, she can make her own masks, and most likely has plenty of names by now. If getting Alison to make a rash decision was the whole point of luring this iteration of Cio, though, then I guess her other interests in worming a devil don’t matter that much?
It is BECAUSE it doesn’t really matter which worm, is why I think this is how Allison is going to kill Gog. Because the only way to keep Nukoku from worming up, is if the worms aren’t Gogged anymore. They’ll just be worms.
Oh, so like it might end up being important that the worm being eaten happens to currently be the body that has the glow from the key? I don’t think the key-bearing body getting attacked is usually that particularly great of weakness of Gog’s, since that probably would have been exploited over the many universe iterations before if it was, but maybe Alison can snatch the key away if she wins a mental battle with her or something?
Oh HELL naw!
[damn]
Soooooo… am I the only one wondering if THIS was Cio’s actual plan? Not actually wanting it for herself but manipulating Alison into taking it because Cio knew Alison would never just agree to it, but would do so to “save” Cio.
Either way I think Gog-Agog might be surprised how this winds up turning out… Alison has had enough of everyone else’s BS and I think these days the scariest thing about her is just sheer unbending, unbreakable WILL.
I’m more likely to believe it was Gog’s plan than Cio’s. But it seems clear that no force in the multiverse is going to beat Jagganoth without Gog as she has been acknowledged as the most powerful Demiurge. So no matter whose plan it is (if anybody’s), this may be the only way to end the loop Zoss set in motion.
Undefeated queen of self-sabotage!
Self Actualization often requires the type of change that you’ll despise the most.

BRACE FOR SERIOUS BUGGERY! 8U
Now we gotta wait before we find out if she ate it or just mushed the worm against her face.
Omg is this a dune reference
The proto-worms swallowed Leto, not the other way around.
Yeah, and they’re more like flatworms.
Oh. Oh shit.
Congrats on the baby! We await your return!
When the mescal DEMANDS that you eat the worm.
In order to be able to accept the worm, the worm must be able to accept you. I believe we will come to find that in fact it is Gog Agog who hath taken a bite of the forbidden fruit.
Oh my god I did not think that the worm was a chekhov’s gun
Dammit, my suspension of disbelief fell and now I can’t stop thinking about it.
Is Cio going to return as Ciocie Cioelle Classic?
My prediction is, to stick with the themes of devils ego being tied to their current mask and name, She probably can not. (technically if you place the same name maybe but I feel like it wouldn’t work)
I think it will be a theme of finding wholeness in oneself and relationships as they are, instead of chasing the frozen idea of how they were in the past, even after a trauma that fundamentally changes who you are as a person.
