Allison eats Magog.
Magog becomes Allison.
“FINALLY,” thinks Magog as she fades into nothingness. “I was beginning to think I’d be stuck going around again, AGAIN.”
There is no going back. There is no forgetting this suffering.
KSBD takes forever to reread because I have to read each page at least twice to fully appreciate it in detail, and then I sit around for an hour thinking about a fifteen word Spasm.
You’d be surprised how many clowns you can pack into a cyclical causality loop. Every time you think “that’s gotta be all of ’em, there’s no way they could fit another clown in there-” Honk! Yet another clown.
We have only begun to progress down this path, and are humbled by the Beast’s mastery.

Hrm. I think Gog Agog actually seems a bit nervous.
Is this the first instance of a thought bubble in the comic? I’m also getting some Star Impact vibes here (“she does not recognize the gap between us”).
Way back in the beginning, Cio did a thought bubble where she said Alison was kinda hot.
Give the “thought bubble” argument a rest.
Agree with previous commenters, thought bubbles are somewhat unexpected and strange. The facial expressions are gorgeous, though. Cio is probably envious, especially since currently she does not have a face.

If Allison is the wisest possible fool, surely she’ll ask of this train: “Where’s the brake?”
Would it help if she put the worm in a bottle of Tequila?

The worm looks a lot like a snake in the last panel.
What if feeding the worm to the successor and merging with them (i.e. Zaid) was how Gog ended up on the throne in earlier cycles?
The whole thing is a set-up.
Gog is used to seducing/tempting a male successor (the dress, the dance) and is ill-equipped to manipulate Allison.
That would also explain Gog’s seeming inner-conflict.
Remember that Gog took this form in order to survive. And we know that Zaid likes Blondes.
Almost puked there. After you put in context how old gog agog is, allison’s threats are just cringe and laughable. even with all the training and character development we had, you just made her look like a mary sue. i Am GoNnA mAkE yOu. said the girl with ~5 years experience to the worm older than time
But Allison is a Mary Sue with world-shattering powers! The things she did previously were impossible as well, she is just more aware of that now!
Gog is unspeakably old because they can transmit their memories across the Wheel turns; the only reason they’ve lasted all this time is because they keep getting a reset back to the state they were in when Zoss made his save file. The story’s made it quite clear that Gog’s been defeated before in other turnings; there’s no reason to think Allison wouldn’t be able to do it if she can prevent Zoss from resetting the board again.
I’d like to say that there is no fucking way Allison takes it.
She said it long ago, all that Can be done is to “move forward” so why would she want a retry? Also she’s litterally shat on a chance to get Cio resurrected so i don’t get it

Why you believe her, you ask, Gog Agog old pal? Because Allison has that inevitable force thing about her.

To forget, to go back in time to the beginning, will only bring us further from the end. Do not bend to the will of the worm, for she only runs deeper into the folly of her avoidance.
There are some striking similarities between Allison and Gog that the Abbadon cleverly attempts to hide from us on this journey. The astute, however, will see..
