So Yuan – who obviously has plenty of badass and some to spare, without any kind of key – became Jagganoth, seemingly the most badass of all demiurges (although the wormy one perhaps could outlast them all) and is doomed to perpetually go through an endless cycle of destroying everything, only to see it begin again, to be destroyed again, ad infinitum, and even as he goes about his business, knows it to be futile, so you know, he’s not in the greatest mood and…well, he has some issues; a lot to process, one might say.
Is that anywhere close to being accurate? It’s been a long, long journey and some things get jumbled up. I try to see the bright side of all of this.

And he can’t remember what Mom looked like, so there’s some family of origin stuff going on there, too.

Just realised Maya turned the stick she was poking the fire with into a sword.
It was a sword the whole time, we were only looking at it edgewise.
Then we were looking at it edgewise from two different angles, it got longer and straighter, and auntie switched hands to boot.
I didn’t notice the hand switch somehow, good point, they’re likely two different objects then.
And Maya is ambidextrous apparently.
