I accidentally scrolled through and saw it, this seems like an interesting story
I thought I commented this before, but I love the past few blurbs. My favorites are always the ones that tell a story when read in sequence, and that’s what these do. The tale of a horrible technique passed from master to student… and then Meti doesn’t do it. She doesn’t pass it on. She chooses to break the cycle.
All those swordmasters, even Ryo, and only Meti was smart enough to realize that NOT passing on the poisonous technique to her apprentice was a viable option. To not pass on that trauma. Good for her.
Great arc i love all of it
She lives in the moment and does not allow fear of The End to corrupt The Now, which is in stark contrast to practically every other character who has internalized some form of existential nihilism in one way or another.
