In other news, I guess this is when Cio either realizes that something is definitely wrong with Allison, or decides that the “new and improved” Allison is HAWT and she wants a piece of it. Hoping for the former, but fearing the latter.
Speaking as one fond of my eternal servile life; fear individuals who randomly sport halos, and aim to be several worlds away from such figures.

Allison now looks a lot more like Incubus. I wonder if Cio will finally figure out Incubus has his hooks in her.

Mammon drank deep from THAT lake of blood, and look where he is now. Hiding from the world at the bottom of a fortress vault, clutching listlessly to blood soiled wealth. His servants pity him near as much as they venerate him, his former comrades barely give a damn about him outside of his ability to keep watch over important trinkets, and it seems as though his every notion of value and glory is twisted around his long dead clan.
That’s no way to live. Not truly.
I can only hope that the Successor realizes this soon, regardless of what anthropomorphic psychological process reigns supreme, before she does anything drastic…

In the midst of the gore of the count you wonder if a stray lustful thought is out of line. How wonderfully human! You need a mask my friend. They are great for hiding ones silly improprieties from one’s self. in truth there is little need to pretend to be so pious while wearing one.
Seems like our rising king interpreted Cio’s pause as a murderthought but all I see in panel 4 is a blue devil thinking “oh no shes hot”.
I may be projecting, though.

What I noticed is that she has refined the concept of death-by-1000-paper-cuts to the final degree.

Cio’s looking to be about half the Devil she used to be, and it looks as if we’ll see how amiable Allison’s ambition is to talking things out.
Also, seems like what they say about Zweihanders is true. She’s become unstoppable.
