Actually, a cat’s whiskers are ideal for navigating around hidden obstacles- too light of a touch to trigger traps, but you’ll see the cat shift to walk around something that you can’t see.
A creature with 9 lives is incredibly convenient for a trap-infested dungeon. Good thinking.
The cat and Allison will be the only survivors.
Oscar’s awesome pants must also survive. Allison can peel them from his cooling corpse, once she has earned the right to wear them.
Are they all blind? The cat is too short for even the first trap. What possesses them to think it shall trigger all other traps?
The first trap as not triggered by height. It was triggered by presence. The cat would have been ideal for triggering it, and would have survived without a scratch.
Pretty sure you have it backwards. The cat will avoid triggering the traps so they’re following it.

After a suitable time, cat is replete. Naps on still-warm segments of corpse. (Don’t tell me it wouldn’t, I’ve seen the little beggars clear out half a lasagna pan and flop down in the exposed sauce.)
Cat awakens, slightly more demonic. Demands an equal share in the adventure.
