Hmm… my first impression is that the Grand Bank of the Dragon has a big silo for storing coin, with doors on different levels for access depending on how much money is piled up. Well, looks to me like ol’ Mammon’s money isn’t stacked nearly as deep as we all thought.
Either that, or he knew they were coming. Yeah, probably that second one. But maybe, just maybe… we’ve seen a few rulers who sacrifice the lives of others to extend thier own life. Ol’ Mottom was going through slaves right fierce. Now, what if Mammon sacrifices wealth to gain longer life and powers and whatnot? I bet Mammon could burn through a mountain of wealth lickety-split!
If that were the case, wouldn’t it be a series of difficult locked doors? If I was going to enchant a room to have the specific hazards that could be bypassed by the person who died, I’d handily make it target the person you know the intruder has already killed.
If I was designing this little impediment the top would be the bottom would be the top. The fall wouldn’t kill you but the boredom would… also windburn or the possibility of streaking on the walls.
Look, guys, as some people have been saying in response to the others, the acrobat was chosen for this sort of thing, it’s not anyone’s fault but the acrobat’s that she was the first to attempt a betrayal and pay for it.
The engineer should be able to handle this just fine provided he has some rope. This is less a situation for an acrobat and more one for repelling & a tripod and winch/pulley which should be pretty easy for him.
Excellent .. Amazing .. I’ll bookmark your blog and take the feeds also…I’m happy to find so many useful info here in the post, we need work out more techniques in this regard, thanks for sharing.
As the Elder Honored Sister once said… please watch your step.

WAX HEAD!
Begin!
I’m here, as we all appreciate:
the pages unfold at their own rate
and sometimes I come to read them late.
Maybe don’t stand so close to the edge.
DON’T PUSH ME
CAUSE I’M CLOSE TO THE
EDGE
I’M TRYING NOT TO LOSE MY HEAD
THRONE’S LIKE A JUNGLE SOMETIMES
IT MAKES ME WONDER HOW I KEEP FROM GOING UNDER
This must be the “regret over the people you slaughtered” room. Very poetic.

If they are lucky it is an elevator shaft or equivalent and they can elevator car surf.
Watch that first step.

Just add cheese wire.
That other red door down there?
Definitely a mimic.
Indiana Jones style leap of faith coming up?
INVISIBLE TURTLES ALLLLL THE WAY DOWN

They need to just push the elevator call button. Dont see problems here at all.
