82 White Chain is so stupid. Much of what AL-YIS-UN has already done can only have been done by the King of all Kings.
I might blame the angel’s master(s) more, though..
Allison should probably point out here that she just killed, well probably, Mottom so if the prophecy is true it has to be about her. She could also mention the Close Encounters of the Zoss kind she’s been having.

Do not tell Royalty that you will pluck their Will from their brow. Royalty is a continuous cutting motion.
I eagerly await the moment White Chain realizes that AL-YIS-UN is, in fact, the chosen successor.
After all, she is a beginning (name starts with A). Zaid is an end (name starts with Z), and that would be most boring.
And together they are beginning and end, the A and the Ω. Seems familliar?
To deny AL-Yis-Un’s divinity is to deny reality, White Chain. I never took you for a surrealist.

Alice-UN has to believe it in order to fulfill Metatron’s desire.

She doesn’t believe this lie.
She has to follow orders, though.
She wants to do something, but as of now, she thinks obeying her master is the only thing she can do.
White Chain states here that Zaid is the Successor, and that Alison was given the power by mistake.
She does not crack.
Ergo, she believes this falsehood.
By standard angel naming convention, shouldn’t it be “1 Metatron”, not “Metatron 1”?
Metatron is no standard angel.
I will reiterate my stance.
I believe it is properly pronounced “Metatron Prime.”
Why must sexism be built in to the universe. Sigh.
Y’all, Jadis’s prophecies are never wrong, but it’s pretty noteworthy that her INTERPRETER is the one who mentioned a male heir.
So she’s probably sitting in that block of whatever hissing “Yooouuuuu dumbbbasssssssseeeessssssssss…… “

Successor, maybe. Chosen, not so much, -OR- chosen by whom? I still maintain that there are machinations being hatched at a level above any characters we’ve seen so far.

The true King’s crown can not be so easily given, especially to one who has spent the whole time up until now floating, asleep, and naked. A truly unworthy king that would be.
is it really so incomprehensible to these people that alison might be the chosen one. nobody even seems to remotely consider it a possibility
Allison cuts through obfuscation with her words as easily as she cuts through her hair with the scissors. She’s growing into her role quickly, and the role is not key courier.
Take the key from Alice at this point? What could possibly go wrong?!
