KSBD 2-34
Chapter: 2
Who might this be? Her last name happens to be ‘Murder the Gods and Topple Their Thrones’, but we are uncertain of her first name. Perhaps you can elucidate us?
In the meanwhile, a prayer of the Mendicant Knights:
————————–
VM ASRA, VM ITTM
YISUN PATTM ATTRA AM
AUN VS UTTR
AUN VS YA
YTTR AM!
ATOMUS UNSM
VM ITTR A VSK PRET
YISUN ATUN!
To the sky
To the other-side that is not sky
YISUN is the Universal Lord
Of nothing he was
And nothing he is now
What a paradox!
We must constantly seek salvation and perfection through division.
Seek heaven through violence.
Praise YISUN!
– 3rd Middle Hym, transcribed from the Song of Maybe, transcribed from UM ( sometimes lengthened in English to Universal Metaconstant) into English.
A devil has caught you, and you have been clasped in manacles
he binds them with 1000 chains forged in hellfire
He tells you that you may walk should you break out
Or… make a deal
A strong man says break the chains one by one
A smart man says make a deal surely tis an impossible task
But a wise man takes off the manacles
Time erodes body, and memory alike
Only wisdom advances ceaselessly
You scared me.
She of the hallowed flame and blasted word
Who sunders chains and topples castles
Blessed, fear her, for what she has taken
Cursed, loath her, for what she has lost
Who is she?
-Riddle, fourth class, of the thrice-damned schemers of Trog. Primary answer: “George”
Her given name is Valor and Spite.
A shadow across the lands
A pox on mountains and chains, that which pebbles and rusts
Kings die in her sight and castles crumble at her steps
Fires die and goes to ash, and ice thaws and goes to water in her presence
For her name
Is Time.
She is the desire, the anarchy gathered in every imps heart.
She is the glutton that eats from the impure flesh and extracts pure thought ferociously free.
She is that which drives revolution, she is the one that brings forth division.
She is Apollyon, the destroyer, the fuel of life.
She’s the liberator, the promise and the satisfaction.
She isn’t a liar, like the gods that she was a midwife to.
Her name can mean both ‘Breakthrough” and “Oblivion”
SUMIYA, the Constant, the Spoke, the Truth.
Her name is तपस्
She has no name.
Her name is She-Of-The-Seven-Ebon-Gullets-And-Nine-Pearlescent-Teeth, for that which she consumes is reduced to the seven base metals: Iron, Tin, Scorn, Ire, Lead, Tungsten and Mistrust- and here teeth are indeed pearlescent, as has been noted by her many suitors among the nearly deceased.
I love this comic, the art and the way you string words together and the prose that accompanies it and the babbling of the comments.
It’s rare to read something so far-reaching and alien that is so solid and assured of itself and immediately compelling. Instead of dancing around on the outside trying to figure out what everything means so that I can get in it’s like falling into warm quicksand and swimming my way deeper.
The world is better with this in it.
The name of she, who walked nine moons on the eleventh day of the birth of the first sun “Firt’n Jat”, is Tromdé Querto Jo, the ancient mother, and she saw the moment she would die in the eye of the first sun, so it has come too pass that she is the priestess of numbered days.
Names names names, I am tired of names. What’s a name to a stranger? Now I could say my name is Jen and that I’m a washerwoman from third ring visiting her son in second, or I could be Thomas Wilcox from Biloxi Mississippi selling the latest in patent crop rotaters. Hell I could call myself King Dot and proclaim myself to be god of, monarch to, and sole inhabitant in an entire universe that consists entirely of myself and you all wouldn’t know me from Adam now would you?
Is her “reach heaven through violence” a reference to Morrowind, or is it older? I recall that line (technically, “reach heaven by violence”) in the 36 Lessons of Vivec, lesson 15. Here:

It definitely is. This entire work is inspired by the words of Lord Vivec.
The comment about Death makes me think she is Death, and wants Allison’s opinion on her. BUt her appearance reminds me of how Despair of the Endless is commonly depicted.
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
(Matthew 11:12)
Honestly, I suppose such posts must be printed more and more due to the present situation and contemporary needs of the Millenials.
I eagerly read them to get some new info that will correspond to
your own requirements.
The fresh concept is here).
She is Maya-ten-Meti, the last great student of the Sword and an expert in separating men from their ghosts.
(I’m from the future. I cheated.)
Oh wow, you got me so good. For a moment, I really thought it all began with you!
She is Diogenes the Cosmopolitan, reincarnated with better hair.
(I want to sow misinformation to maintain the mystery, probably.)
Excellent .. Amazing .. I’ll bookmark your blog and take the feeds also…I’m happy to find so many useful info here in the post, we need work out more techniques in this regard, thanks for sharing.
It was a very good post indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it in my lunch time. Will surely come and visit this blog more often. Thanks for sharing.
Ah. And perhaps here is the question that became of utter importance. A question that can break one’s mind.
A man once came late to a gathering as all others left
Woe, he cried, saddened by his loneliness
and begrieved at his sadness
YISUN he called, naming that which is infinite
please, YISUN, he implored, make of me so that I may be encompassed in your bosom forevermore
“Ha!” said YISUN, whose voice was everywhere and nowhere
“Be at peace for you are already there.”
Looking forward to the next chapter.
