Nice to be visiting your blog again, it has been months for me. Well this article that i’ve been waited for so long. I need this article to complete my assignment in the college, and it has same topic with your article. Thanks, great share.
i would love to enjoy the validation of her finally being called sister, but tbh the way she keeps getting beaten down and cast as an antagonist – albeit a reluctant, abused one – antagonist against really makes it hard for me to trust that there isn’t more hurt coming for her after this. and juggernaut star, another angel who is at least punished for being too human/soft (if not transfem as the two face reveals have at least strongly suggested them to be) being the one to come and punish her here is pouring a LOT of salt in the wound.
i was told there was good transfem rep in this comic, and there is, but it has been a double edged sword the whole way through so far. i’ve still been enjoying absolutely everything else about the story, art, characters, and writing, but mannnn it sure is tough when all the trans rep is riddled with the same kind of repression, misgendering, victim-blaming, violence, etc., that i and other girls i know have dealt with and continue to deal with irl. like i reflexively clamped down on my urge to cry about her finally being gendered correctly by another angel because i immediately had the thought “i hope she doesn’t regress again after this.” i really hope that changes soon! i know everyone’s going through struggles in this comic but all the wlw getting to be openly sapphic while the trans woman suffers is like… same old narrative with a fresh (very appealing) coat of paint on top.
all that said, this is a fantastic, beautifully written and illustrated story that clearly had a LOT of love and care and deep thought poured into it and i have otherwise had a very fun time binging my way through it, several years later lol
Vigilant Gaze said trans rights
And all around the KSBD comment section, there was much rejoicing…
This is one of the best pages of the comic
“Gadiriel has adopted various quaint human customs, like being female.”
Sister! They called her Sister!
There actually tears in my eyes, I am crying with joy, this might be the best page in the whole comic!

Shine on, you crazy wheel-eyed lion sphinx. You sound like Siegmeyer of Catarina the most when you’re being this tight, and we love you.
That one line is so amazing and finally seeing an angel recognize and respect white chain’s gender is so meaningful
“THE TRANS ALLY ANGEL”
10 Vigilant Gaze Purges the Horizon SAYS TRANS RIGHTS!
Oh, Yisun hell yeah. White Chain is such an amazing representation of Trans characters, this is fucking vindicating
