God help us I was right
There is a stereotypical fear of Soleman David and his ilk. That people like him should not hold power. But I ask you, why not?…Maybe he’ll be allied with our hero and we no longer have to worry.
History is filled with people like Solomon David and his ilk. It always ends in tears and horror. Seriously, the more you read about history the more you’ll start to despise people like him.
I don’t think Salami Dave’s rhetoric was intended by the author to be an affirmation of his point of view.
I never said it was. I’m saying there are good reasons to fear David Dimmadome when one either thinks his statements through or simply opens up a history book. Which 5MIABWNS-TWIC was asking about.

She’s repenting for the years spent enforcing the system she now opposes. She’s proving to herself that she’s changed. That she CAN change. Change is difficult for angels. They’re stubborn. That, at least, remains the same.

This might be a reach but the way I’ve been reading this chapter there’s some hints that White Chain might become a Prime Angel.
I would be interested to see sister White Chain ascend to Prime status.
It always struck me that the sleeping/reincarnating Prime angels have angel forms more like White Chain’s than like the other angels.
My paranoid theory related to it is that 2 Michael maybe isn’t a Prime angel at all, because his body isn’t very human, but simply a non-Prime that woke up first and thus has longer contiguous memories than the other angels.
(Barring Metatron, but I think Metatron is half-dead, half-alive, and all crazy.)
