Well, maybe not quite a god. Yet. Or ever? Regardless, this is Chain’s big moment and I’m very proud of her, no matter how hard she’s about to get shitmixed in the next update.
Fair is the flip of the coin. Upon heads, she would win. A coin is flipped and settles on heads. Instead of victory, she is handed defeat. She knew the game was rigged and played anyways because there is a moment when victory seems possible even if the outcome has been already determined. That moment of maybe held more hope than all the certainty of loss at all other times, and for this reason, she would choose to play.
