The Art. It is not a painting, yet people will marvel at the sight. It is not a poem, yet it will move those that hear it. To be an Artist is to see the world as your canvas and to see reality as your clay.
Something odd is afoot. The needle glows the same blue as 82’s ethereal flames. However, why did Cio drop 82’s inert form down several storeys and demand Alison withdraw the needle rather than doing it herself beforehand? Did the impact jar the needle loose? What will happen when the needle is withdrawn?
I must say, “I Quit!” is the best incantation/spell activation phrase of all time. Much better than “abracadabra”, and, dare I say it, even better than Mumford the Muppet’s “A la peanut butter sandwiches!”
I think that lone panel is the only time we haven’t seen Allison panicking since… ever. She must really like arts and crafts.

This comic is amazing. The art is stunning and the world building is fascinating. Keep going!
Even the mightiest warrior trembles at a war fought on paper
Oh, Clio! You never drop your glasses for long.
Of course the sarcastic arachnaea Clio would use a thread in her Art.

Maybe it’s because Cio is a Devil? Protectors and Destroyers seem to be cosmic opposites.
Perhaps 82’s mind and spirit are held within the needle.
Though Alison consumed the blood of a blue devil, hence her budding horns. Maybe she’s not far enough along.
Wobble-brains! Haha, brilliant. I love it.
What new development is this? Beware the sky is falling!
Ha I like how the book is making a face in frames 5&6.
You would make faces too, were your head torn from your body. Although on second thought, perhaps you wouldn’t.
Whoa. Discovered this recently, read in one binge. Very impressive! So. Much. Detail.
Nice. It’s always handy to know how to use shikigami, they just have so very many uses.
I love your demon lady design, the eyes really do it for me.

Clio is a top-tier girl. Entertaining personality/speech pattern, the glasses are surprisingly cute, and onmyodo-inspired abilities are always cool.
Definitely my demon-waifu, regardless of her insect limbs.
And of course, the comic itself is amazing, I’m really enjoying the thought you’ve put into these civilizations and the cosmic background.
