Not specifically related to this comic, but I just want to say thank you to the author because I probably have the recent chapters to thank for the awesome fight scene I had in a dream, where I was fighting Satan.
From what we’ve seen so far, Aspected Chaos seems to radiate a kind of elegant coolness with every movement. Unless I’m just overinterpreting, it’s a nice, subtly powerful touch.
To the people commenting on Solomon’s beard suddenly being different: the man can move suns. I suspect it’s also within his power to restyle his beard without visiting a barber.
I really hope that this isn’t another fight (or continuation of the one that just ended). We’ve had nothing other than combat sequences for like two years and the most recent one was honestly a let down compared to the end of the tournament.
It is so unclear what is going on here without reading the comments. And the alt text. Then googling the alt text. Then looking at the last few panels again. Ok, I guess AC isn’t raising some kind of barrier around the old, destroyed arena after all.
42 Fragments the Universe Beyond All Reintegration
Aspected Chaos carrying away the arena feels significant and appropriate but somehow not especially impressive, not in the same way as the other major deeds so far. I think Abbadon has levelled up his audience to the point where we need something even more spectacular. A bit like Mottom trying to entertain her mob of minions.
if you want to make it seem more impressive you can pretend she’s not moving the island but rather rather the rest of the universe, sort-of like how the planet express ship works
Maya better hurry up if she wants to catch the bus.

Really? Who won?
Yes.

Is she going full Ultron here?
The lady spells the signs of life
Lose the E from bookie’s wife.
(another’s been cut, sword or knife).
Solomon is annoyed that people just do whatever they want with his carefully planned out landscape.

lol
Divinity sees existence in it’s truest sense.
Now, what would be the most appropriate music video for this? “La Serenissima / Venice in Peril” by Rondo Veneziano? “Clint Eastwood” by Gorillaz?
>:=)>
This reminds me of part of the The Rite Of Spring segment in Disney’s Fantasia where massive earthquakes are forcing huge rocks up from below ground.
This looks impressive, until you realize that Solomon moved an entire star.
Oh dang, is she pulling a Sokovia?
This story got really dragonball for the ending
I hope this is a setup for an “orbital dropkick”.
Is the hover text a Risk of Rain 2 reference?
No, Super Smash Bros; see “No Items, Fox Only, Final Destination”.
Is she raising the entire city??? Or just the arena.
I am now lost.
Just the arena. So they can really cut loose* without killing all the people of the city.
*’scuse the pun.
Maybe I said it before, but I don’t remember a character design as beautiful and badass than The Aspected Chaos. It’s just amazing.
Will this be the grave of the world? Or perhaps the arena in which the gladiator gods find their resolution?

Was that a brawl reference? I feel 17 again
Stop, I have the High ground!!
