I think Incubus really is on Allison’s side now. Remember that he was there when Zoss was talking to Allison about “strength beyond strength” and how trying to reshape the universe through violence was futile, and she needed to take another route.
Incubus was on Jagganoth’s side, I think, because he, too, thinks the universe is fundamentally broken and awful and wanted power to burn it all down, and thought that Jagganoth was the one with the best chance of pulling that off. But now that he’s met Allison and heard what Zoss has to say…he may have realized that Allison is the one who can get him what he wants.
42 Fragments the Universe Beyond All Reintegration
Interesting. But I read it in the opposite sense. Originally, Incubus was using Jagganoth to take down the other five demiurges, and relying on Allison to defeat Jagganoth (by means unrevealed). He thought he had Allison under control; and up to the middle of book 3 that was true. Then Allison started to do her own thing. Incubus met Zoss and realised that he’d _lost_ Allison. Now, he’s just improvising, I think. But he may be improvising brilliantly.
If you start reading on page 17 (and scan the dialogue pretty fast) the slowdown at 2:00 in the song syncs up to the slowdown on page 33 in the comic, and the breakout at 2:30 to the same on 36. Highly recomend.
Can anything be immune to the fundamental art of division?
Yisun themself was divided, but not at another’s hand.
Who has the will sufficient to divide Yisun?
Only Yisun. In the divine suicide even god is cut.
All fights are a contest of wills.
In whose breast do the terrible fires of want burn most fiercely.
I mean, if anything in creation can make Jagg vulnerable, it’s got to be Allison’s key right? We’ve been lead to believe it contains everything Metatron knew of God. How could he have given Jagg anything better than that?
And Jagganoth, also an imperfect being, gets his invincibility from angel feathers. Out-of-comic statements aside, surely it’s not obvious why one would be stronger than the other?
In the 4th panel, where the rainbow power connects, look at the small fragments that seem to be shooting off of him. I think the trio’s attack stripped him of Metatron’s nails, which are what conferred his invulnerability.
Except that (a) in the final panel the nails are very much in evidence and in place, and (b) it’s been stated elsewhere that removing the nails would not remove his invulnerability.
White Chain knows this, and was even talking about it (Jagganoth being invulnerable, but not immune to pain). And yet… now, being a part of this trio, still chooses to act? They -must- have an idea about how to use their powers that we don’t.
That doesn’t answer my question though. Sure it looks like it hit him hard, but so did a bunch of their other attacks, and those apparently weren’t going to be enough.
That was remarkably straightforward. Sadly, I suspect that this is a case of using your broken build to shoot cthulhu a billion times in one turn, only for the GM to be like “mate, cthulhu doesn’t have hit points, what are you doing to just wasted all your bullets”
10 Wobbly Sticks Hold Aloft the Big Fragile Thingy
Could Incubus hit disrupt rainbow one and steal it power to himself fucking over both Jag and also infecting Allicio in Chains power? I just don’t trust the guy at all and knowing him and how he raised Allisson he will betray them all for power grab.
He’s more of a “I’m going to be the last one standing” sort of man. Jagganoth, as evidenced by Incubus saying it was too soon, may have reasoned that the Red God is now his biggest threat.
Also, I’m sure he’d like that key in the giant’s forehead.
Six other demiurges violently stripped away Jagganoth’s armor and exposing Jagganoth’s titties.
Now Jagganoth has had his bare ass titties flailing around: sometimes in heavy bondage; sometimes in fire hot rage.
Stop trying to embarrass Jagganoth!
For the battle against the great and terrible Jagganoth to merely be the preamble to the final story… I anticipate the finale of this fight with wonder and fear. I can’t imagine what will end up going wrong because quite frankly we’re spoiled for choice in that department.
K not gonna lie I have no idea what’s going on here. What happened to the net thing? Did AC just unravel it? And Jag is totally gonna no-sell this, right?
Hot damn, Inky didn’t betray the other yet? Really thought that was about to happen.
others* friggen typo
That time when your “finishing blow” merely irritates the opponent.
Assuming that he’s not making a possession attempt.
Wait, if Inky kills Jagger, will he claim Jagg’s stone? If he does, will he rule over 2/7 of Creation?
there’s a pretty good chance that if he claims jagg’s key that he’ll use that power to try to take the rest.
His name is Incubus.
He’ll wipe out the males, then try to make Chaos his concubine.
Incubus is gay. You got it backwards
Gay for ambition most of all, right? If he thinks Chaos can help him more…
Alternatively, considering last page, maybe he named his sword Ambition?
“… named his sword Ambition?”
Underrated response right there.
I say 2/7ths is too much power for most to claim and not explode outwards, let’s see what happens to incubus if he tries.
Not kill him, but maybe pass through him, tearing away the key on the way. Could Incubus be transformed in the process, as was White Chain?

For all we know Incubus is about to super-charge Jaggy.
Or cut the strings! Look at them scattering!
Ssssssssssstab!
You Say Run goes with this.
(and by “this” I mean the last 20 pages)

“All the Cubits Spear”
Yes Exactly This
Hmm, looked more like a bullwhip to me…
A good joke, but it looks like Aspected Chaos co-opted the Blood Flower Curse: Binding of Immortal Souls and enhanced it with her(their?) own power.
A grievous mistake. The Red God has no heart.
History tells many stories, when dealing with a giant, you aim for the head.
There’s no way they beat him here, right? Form changes be damned, invincible means invincible
Can anything be immune to the fundamental art of division?
Yisun themself was divided, but not at another’s hand.

Only Yisun. In the divine suicide even god is cut.
All fights are a contest of wills.
In whose breast do the terrible fires of want burn most fiercely.
Is the Red god an Iron Plum or will Incubus go right through the soft succulent flesh.
But indeed, both everything and nothing are immune to it– the great sword of division can cut neither the goose egg nor the infinitude.
I mean, if anything in creation can make Jagg vulnerable, it’s got to be Allison’s key right? We’ve been lead to believe it contains everything Metatron knew of God. How could he have given Jagg anything better than that?
It’s Yisun’s names, wielded by an imperfect being. Jagganoth cannot die.
Yet Jagganoth holds one name of Yisun and is an imperfect being.
And Jagganoth, also an imperfect being, gets his invincibility from angel feathers. Out-of-comic statements aside, surely it’s not obvious why one would be stronger than the other?
But Yuan is already dead.

Has (b) been stated? I don’t recall that being in the comic, but it’s not like I have the entire thing memorized.
I dont think its stated in comic but by Abbadon Out of comic.
Some of, perhaps! But let’s do read on!
Traditionally if you hit enemy into their weak point, then you inflict massive damage.
White Chain knows this, and was even talking about it (Jagganoth being invulnerable, but not immune to pain). And yet… now, being a part of this trio, still chooses to act? They -must- have an idea about how to use their powers that we don’t.
Say goodbye arm
That arm has been lost…
Like me
Did that hundred cubit spear actually do anything? Did that somehow Solve the problem of Jagganoth being impervious?
It was not a spear.
She-she-she grabbed the sorcery-rope and poured rainbow-radiance into it.
That doesn’t answer my question though. Sure it looks like it hit him hard, but so did a bunch of their other attacks, and those apparently weren’t going to be enough.
Just waiting for the timely return of the spear al-yisun threw out of the arena
What, do you think it will turn around and come flying back down?
don’t worry guys they got him, we’re good
show us his penis you coward
for Patreon supporters no doubt. Everyone else must be satisfied with that tiny dot slightly visible above his leg.
I believe that is one of his angel feathers driven into his skin, not the head of the Jaggahog
The ambiguity may save the rating. It allows anyone who wishes to wear the mask of virtue or vice.
We…are the crystal gems
Shot through the heart…
Inky’s to blame…
You give Demiurges…
Maya will kill Inky in 3… 2… 1…
That was remarkably straightforward. Sadly, I suspect that this is a case of using your broken build to shoot cthulhu a billion times in one turn, only for the GM to be like “mate, cthulhu doesn’t have hit points, what are you doing to just wasted all your bullets”
then d4 investigators get eaten
Although the truth is that already happened… at least twice.
And Royalty is flipping the table and punching the DM when he thinks he’s put you in an impossible encounter.
this entire comic has been incredible
Could Incubus hit disrupt rainbow one and steal it power to himself fucking over both Jag and also infecting Allicio in Chains power? I just don’t trust the guy at all and knowing him and how he raised Allisson he will betray them all for power grab.

The fact that we’ve seen whole titties out multiple times and not one (1) giant dick & balls is actually homophobic
“Thanks for coming to my TED Talk”.
Titties ain’t equivalent to dick’n’balls.
Says who? We all have parts they should be weighed equally. Free the vaginas, penis and balls!!!
Six other demiurges violently stripped away Jagganoth’s armor and exposing Jagganoth’s titties.
Now Jagganoth has had his bare ass titties flailing around: sometimes in heavy bondage; sometimes in fire hot rage.
Stop trying to embarrass Jagganoth!
She is made from the fabric of the universe…
…Steven universe.
For the battle against the great and terrible Jagganoth to merely be the preamble to the final story… I anticipate the finale of this fight with wonder and fear. I can’t imagine what will end up going wrong because quite frankly we’re spoiled for choice in that department.
Her eyelashes are incredible.
I guess those two pixels prove he’s not a eunuch huh
He might as well be. Those parts are used by living men to give life.
Jaganoth is a dead man who only deals death.
Thats one of the nails, you can see the twin on the other leg in the same place
K not gonna lie I have no idea what’s going on here. What happened to the net thing? Did AC just unravel it? And Jag is totally gonna no-sell this, right?
Allison appears to be transferring the rainbow halo energy stuff into the net. Why it suddenly transformed into a single thread idk
It looks to me like the whole net just burst? There are other smaller (less empowered?) threads still flailing around
It’s simple. Wrap someone in a chain and plug the other end into a 220 volt outlet. Stepping in a puddle might help.
Does it count if Allison is wrapped in a White Chain?
