Wielder of Names 5-84
“I can’t stand it!” howled Aesma, “Your elegies are dull! Your saints are all liars. Your youth are pallid and weak, and your wine tastes like piss. One cannot as much fart in here without being preached at.”
“Out, demon!” said the Hierophant, and brandished his stave of authority. A score of priests stood beside him, robed in their aprons and strewn about with their golden chains. The light of good and righteousness sharpened their noble features and rugged eyes.
“Were violence not forbidden in this most holy temple, we would have thee out by the stave,” boomed the head priest. “I pity thee, crawling thing, for thy black heart is all shriveled and malnourished without the guidance of moral authority!”
“At least I’m not being sucked on by old men!” spat Aesma at the holy congregation. She then pulled down her loincloth and mooned them, to great dismay. Then the staves came out after all, and she was thrown out of the temple in a short order.
“Get thee a husband,” said the exasperated priest, and slammed the door shut.
Aesma thought this was not a bad idea at all. Husbands were rumored to be better than dogs. She set off.
-Excerpt from ‘Aesma and the Red Eyed King’
In which stone disrespects stone.
Unwise.
That tea cup is caught between a rock and a hard place.
Husband better than a dog? Perhaps. Detestable creatures. Still, as horrible as they are, dogs are worse.
Fear not, 6 Juggernaut Star Scours The Universe. I know many humans who completely agree with you.
Meaning is a blossom sprung from the seed of Want, bathed in the waters of Will. In that cup, the wise would find more Meaning than in the actions of a score of Thorns who only know how to do what they’re told.
Oh, BURN!
But can an Igneous Angel be burned?
Perhaps this tale should be renamed Kill Six Billion Angels, fod indeed they are that which we detest most dearly. They claim to know Truth, which is an abhorrent statement before a universe of liars.
Liars? My, my- why bother lying? The truth is a far sharper blade, there is no need to lie. Although, that is your fate is it not, to be told you are wrong? That you are… Lying? Tut tut dearling; you’re on the right track of fate~.
Are White Chain’s eyes black now? Or is it just shadow? Either way, very ominous indeed.
You may recall she ripped off her own face recently. She has no eyes, at least not in the usual sense.
When ones life is measured in millennia, one has time to become an expert in a great many things. Though, as some others have, this one wonders if he is able to consume tea in his current form.
I always did enjoy angels with their highbrow speech of how things are ‘deviant’ or otherwise. They say that much about me whenever I am caught~. Being a thief of fate sure makes this a lot harder than it should be.
Yes, husbands are better than dogs. Killing dogs isn’t a crime, ergo it’s not enough of a challenge.
Later Aesma would meet a strapping specimen name Kronk, and while she would not marry him, they would hang out a lot.
Nice allusion their m8, real subtle and cutting.
BUT OH WAIT, YOU’RE COVERED IN SPIKES, NOT KNIVES. YOUR THEMATIC COHESION IS RUINED JACKASS.
The irony is that you take note of it regardless of what you feel for it, Mr Thorn Knight. :1
I was hoping Juggernaut would splash the tea on their face.

Could this be the theme song of Beggar Knights, and Maya?
So uh, hey, anyone wanna talk about the coloring on White Chain’s hand in the last panel and pick apart its significance?
Douchebag humor. What a bully!
I love White Chain.
That last panel is fantastic.
I can’t believe only one person has commented on White Chain’s hand seemingly becoming human in that last panel. What’s that mean, I wonder.
