This entire time she’s acted like she knows what’s going on and she has to make a hard and painful decision, but at no point has she stopped to actually ask Nukoku who she is, what she wants or how much of Cio is still in her—just because she’s a new person doesn’t mean she’s not Ciocie in the ways that matter most. I mean just look at how much White Chain and Alison have changed. Can you really call them the same people they were before all of this happened—Initially, when it looked like she was an unspeaking white devil, that might have made some sense, but that’s no longer the case and Allison is still keeping with her assumptions all for the sake of avoiding the pain of uncertainty and a definitive answer.
All I have to say is stop being a coward and ask your resurrected girl friend who she is and what she wants, before both of you do something you regret and/or can’t take back.
Exactly- it’s just easier for her to go into “Allison Smash” mode. It seemed like she’d reached a new level of “royalty” (or whatever) recently but in fact no real progress has been made- just the same self-absorbed, thoughtless girl as before.

Just like White Chain was reforged with the aspect of Solomon, Cio seems to be reforged with the aspect of Incubus – even adopting his color scheme and a regrowth and reshaping power reminiscent of blood alchemy.
Nukoku looks like Yabalchoath but she talks like like Cio. She wants the little house in the suburbs, not the world in chains with a throne on top. Yab had huge dreams; Cio defined herself by giving up those dreams.
Also, consider the spines. Yab was the spiny component of Cio. As mentioned in another forum, Nukoku’s spines are mostly on the parts that are peeling off and they are pointed inwards. Self torment?

…well, Maya *did* cut off Incubus’ head, but I think Cio was too busy being chopped meat on the ground to do anything about it.
