WHEEL SMASHING LORD 3-70 to 3-71
Chapter: 3
The song of loving – the song of strength. The heart-armor, blood red, that withstands all obstacles.
Set this in your center like pillar of star-iron – You exist.
Oh lover mine, oh enemy mine, you will stand erect forever. Nothing will blow you over.
Relish in your self-same violence. You exist. That should be enough.
-Spasms

so Jadis knows the outcome of all possible actions and Gog-Agog has seen every possible action. what makes allison stand out among subsequent cycles?
She’s actually Royalty, unlike every pretender heir who came before her.
So if I get this right Gog-Agog is the most powerful existence ever and she still couldnt change a thing so she became a jester to keep herself entertained as a result?
What an exquisit beauty she was. No kidding, that’s transcendent glory. Even cooler than YISUN and Jagganoth in Chacravartin mode. Love this multy-angled halo.
The fish is… peculiar. Quite so.
Gog as Savathun confirmed
oh, worm?
REVEAL THE GOGHEAD!
Is this fearsome fish a bearer of the might of Yulvur Ironblood, seeking to vent its wrath upon the architect of the demise of the former world ruler?
Maybe the fish ate Yulvur and thus inherited his power after digesting him. Solomon did mention that Yul fell on an ocean right?
Is Primordial Gog giving someone the finger to the right on the first panel?
The Black Lodge is just full of these things, isn’t it?
New theory: Yulvur Ironsblood didn’t actually drown, he was just transformed into Mr. Laser-Whale (no doubt by some cruel trickster god), and that’s why it’s so pissed at S-diddy here.
Gog isn’t wrong
But she isn’t right either
Her own perception so warped she can’t comprehend what existed in the beginning, she sees herself in it but not what it was.
Oh how like the wyrm
When flayed apart
Split
sundered
Shattered
A wyrm yet remains, and if it could remember, it would remember that past life.
But with division comes multiplicity, and the other half too would be just as rightly, that first wyrm.
And so reality, once a great solid obelisk, has eroded into a field of sand.
So like how many creatures are there with demiurge levels of power? Do all worlds manage to make at least one?
anyone knows what’s up with that flesh sphere that Gog has?
It’s anybody’s guess. An egg? Worm covered planet making it a planet sized brain? Someone else suggested Dyson sphere in worm form.
Set to a popular jingle we all marveled at…
“It was Gog-Agog all along”
Since nobody else seems to have noticed, just gonna say that’s a nice parry against the tactic Solomon is trying to use.
I also hope that they land on one of those ice chunks.
So I guess the form of Gog shown here is her form from that first world, before Zoss started resetting things. And in the previous page, Gog said that she “assumed this form in order to survive, in defiance of god.”
So my theory is that this page’s form in her before any wormification, and the worm is what Gog became in order to survive universe wipes, defying Zoss. She looks similar to some of the reptillian and insectiod devils we’ve seen, could she have been an Ebon originally?
I seriously doubt they were a devil, and Yabalchoath is supposedly the first devil (during this cycle at least) to even obtain a key. Plus Yabalchoath got ROFLSTOMPED when she started getting too powerful or started rocking the status quo.
The design does however, generally resemble some insectoid and reptilian designs Abbadon has done before.
“In this cycle” is an important qualification, nobody but Gog and Zoss remember anything from before that. As far as they know, gog has just always been a weird worm-thing. And Yabby shows that a devil CAN start to become way too friggin powerful *unless* someone stops them.
IT WAS ME, DIO!!!!
I love the horrible alien insect head you see if you look at it without focusing. Superb design there.
I like how her sidemost arms are in the position of “ha made you look” and “middle finger” in the first panel
Mega Dope Bug Goddess Final Form reveal aside, I love the implication from the last few pages that either:
a) Gog Agog is a big David Lynch fan,
b) David Lynch has somehow tapped into the hivemind consciousness and unconsciously replicated the Leviathan Revue in the Black Lodge, or
c) perhaps he IS a part of Gog Agog, and is consciously spreading her influence through his work.
Any of the above answers would be in-character for Gog and/or Lynch, imo.
Also very telling, to me, that she’s chosen to imitate Marilyn Monroe for this scene–Monroe being one of the most captivating and well-remembered entertainers in history, whose jovial, airheaded facade masked a very aware and deeply miserable soul beneath.
Not to mention completely stripped of agency, in spite of her possessing fame and wealth beyond the wildest imagination of most.
Ok, last self-reply, I promise
Well, on Allison’s and our Earth at least, and the symbolism certainly fits Gog Agog.
Gog Agog (and by extension, Abbadon) probably chose the Marylin Monroe lookalike because she is a very well known cultural figure which would be able to resonate with the readers. Making up a similar figure that doesn’t look like any real world person wouldn’t have the same effect without knowing the history and backstory of said person Gog Agog is mimicking.
Not enough “wizard of oz” references to be truly Lynch.
Gog Agog’s limbs look somewhat similar to the limbs of some devils, such as Yabalchoath and Vladok.
Is it possible that Gog originally came from the Hot Black Flame, quintillions of years ago?
Interesting that this form of gog-agog specifically uses a middle finger. It suggests that it is specifically tailored to allison’s perception, as a middle finger isn’t a universal gesture even on our earth, much less 777,777 other ones.
Allison isn’t even looking at the projection though…
Gog Agog and Jadis are the demiurges that give me the most Lovecraftian feeling. For different reasons their intelligence is superhuman and inconceivable.
Gog agog appears insane–or at least astronomically bored!–but that might be due to being the only she/he/they can communicate with us. Gog’s “insanity” is the nearest she/he/they can interact on our level.
Us as in the readers and fourth wall breakage?
My theory is that Gog is one of the ancient gods split from YISUN and has only lived this long by changing her form to avoid becoming a part of the Wheel during its creation through the self destruction of the children of YIS and UN. This could also explain why there is one less of the White Gods than the Black Gods!!!
(If I’m wrong I’m wrong but I think it fits :3
ANCIENT FISH USED FIRE BLAST!
IT MISSED!
