Hmm. Well, while Suuz totally deserved that and probably died feeling bewildered and exceedingly stupid, I do think it a touch unfortunate that she has met her end before we could properly see her sew someone to death.
Hmm… Now, my sub never had an “Aoooga” dive alarm, and I can only guess that this is a carry-over from old Submarine movies and / or the old WW2 diesel boats. But the dive alarm was never the one that really got my attention. We had an alarm on the sub that was guaranteed to make you sit up in your rack and go “WHAT THE F@CK IS GOING ON!?!” (followed closely by rubbing your forehead cuz the rack is too short to actually sit up in). That alarm is the Missile Emergency Alarm.
Then how come Praman Nand’s ‘daughters’ (Sweetie Pie & Honey Bunch) were only banished to the Void when White Chain smashed them? They seemed to retain their identity.
I know this Faustian Bargin may bite Alison in the ass in the long run, but frankly doesn’t look like there’d be a long run without it. This has to be the third time the flame has saved her buns.
This is going to turn into one of those things, isn’t it? Where one demon tries to off Allison so she’s got to smoke a bitch to show them that she means business, and then all the rest start to turn on her and she has to deal with them in self defense but of course each one she gets rid of just makes the rest all the more convinced that Allison is determined to kill them one by one so they need to act first and then eventually everything’s on fire and someone has lost their hat.
That feeling you had just now? Know that feeling. That is the feeling you have when you realise that this is one of those stories. One of the ones where the party is whittled down one by one, one after another, until the only ones left are the only ones lucky enough to be called our protagonists.
These stories are very true to the way of things.
So here’s question: is Allison’s abrupt shift in those four panels from watching Suuz be consumed, the horror of having killed someone for the first time (Hastet Om did come first, but between being a tree, having been killed once before, and subsisting on the blood of his wives probably didn’t register as a person in the same way Suuz did), or the after effects of Incubus’s enhancement?
I mean technically suuz isnt a person, just parasitic black flame doing its only purpose in life, its almost the same as the mimic she killed, but a better conversationalist
Hmm. It occurs to me that her mask is now down among the mimics. And we know from Yab/Cio’s story that if someone retrieves the mask and re-summons Suuz, she’ll retain her memories….
They say revenge is a dish best served cold, but sometimes we have our just desserts before dinner.
Hmm. Well, while Suuz totally deserved that and probably died feeling bewildered and exceedingly stupid, I do think it a touch unfortunate that she has met her end before we could properly see her sew someone to death.
Guarantee it will be appropriate? Challenge accepted.
“AOOOOOGGGGAAA AOOOOOGGGGGAAAA AOOOOOGGGAA”
*submarine sounds*
And here I was thinking yackety sax.

I present to you, the sounds of a submarine…

The best of them all:
Anchors aweigh, my boys, anchors aweigh!
Starting to give a new meaning to “equal share”, innit?
Was Suuz really killed or just banished to the Void?
For a demon, it’s the same thing. Their identity is their mask.
Is the devil the mask, made by men, or the flame, wrest from the chest of YIS?
It cannot exist without both. If either fails, it is Divided.

She asked for it :/
*Splorch*
And then there were ten.
WAS NADIA RIGHT ABOUT YOU, AL-YS-UN?
A GLORIOUS RISING FLAME. THE HEIR TO ALL CREATION.
EVERYONE WILL FEAR YOU.
AND YOU WILL LOVE IT.
Strip the flesh! Salt the wound!

I’d bet she thought the human members of their group were… expendable. Which just goes to show that she was stupid.
What is the death of a devil to it’s fellows but a narrowing of the competition? One less person to share the spoils.
5,999,999 Demons to go
5,999,999 to go

She had it coming,
She had it coming,
She had it coming, first to last;
When you try to
Backstab a royal,
The mimics get a fine repast.
Just desserts, for the demon and the chairs.
Bonus: I’ve seen enough hentai to know where this is going.
I doubt they will blame her for the death given the circumstance. Hard to miss a flash lightning portal and the noise of a struggle.

Poor Suuz, I liked her. And am i the only one who feel sorry for her?
Well the universal rule is when you try to murder someone, it’s fair if they try to murder you too
After the rush of adrenaline remorse kicks in
