I don’t think that a rescue mission actually qualifies as a misdeed. Has anyone told them that this is a rescue mission?
Keep in mind that in addition to the rescuing part, they also intend to pilifer the heck out of the vault. Whether or not that counts as a misdeed depends on how you feel about the dragon, I suppose.
That makes the 10% take especially worrying.

He’s being kept in a treasure vault. The crew was told they were taking something from a treasure vault, which they aren’t authorized to be in, ergo is a crime. Everything Cio told them was technically true, and if they wanted more info, they should have asked more questions before accepting the gig.
Though now that we discuss it, I find myself concerned that “10% of the take” might include some of the rescuee’s organs.

On the other hand, if she gets in trouble she would be a damsel in distress, and Alison has a good track record with those.
I don’t like her chances either, but I think the assembled are placing the odds a bit too long against her. I am willing to take odds to the order of five against versus two for her survival, on the side of for, if anyone’s interested.

One cannot help but wonder on that most sacred of vows, covering one’s eye while swearing an oath. Who started it? why has it grown so known through out Throne and the many worlds beyond? I shall sit and eat my fruit and ponder it all day.
