Angels are notoriously durable and difficult to manage in combat, abrupt explosiveness nonwithstanding. They are like water. You can cut the cup holding the water, but given time the water will simply find another cup.
The trick is to cool it down enough such that it freezes into flat sheets, and pray to Yisun that the ice doesn’t have enough fire in it that it restores itself to its natural state.
Others have sought to answer your question, and they have given good answers. But not TRUE answers. One such as Mathangi Ten Meti cuts water as she cuts everything else; she simply cuts, and the water divides, as such is her Art. But cutting the Cold White Flame is much harder than cutting water. For all my brothers who disagree with the lunatic she faces, I pray she succeeds.
Collect the water, and sell it for a profit to a man dying of thirst, so to speak. There are many dangerous men in the myriad hells who would pay for good and healthy, uh, water.
That’s ingenious this fool should hollowed out weapon too maybe a spiked club! I wonder what else little surprises and toys my dear metatron gives out to his enforcers.
It looks as though 6 Juggernaut Star has some means of preserving his essence outside of the void after his corporal body has been destroyed. Or perhaps, the wheel itself is autonomous?
Not unlikely. I have seen it before. Look at some of the more angelic angels from when White Chain had been told of truths and first met Juggernaut Star. One had a wheel like head full of eyes above a lionine body. Two parts.
Joubes au Draco, Grand Dragon Bank regional manager
I mean, the evidence is all there. When he first announced his name, guess who else was in the same panel? The wheels. And as I recall, every time he speaks afterward, the wheels are close by. He is defeated by Maya in one Cut, but the wheel is still there, growling in the Angel’s own voice. And note how his true form looks like a skeleton… there are a number of other skeletons on the motorcycle. I think that the “rider” is in fact just a more powerful version of the other skeletons, chosen as the avatar of the real 6 Juggernaut Star, who is the motorcycle! I think the other skeletons are there to replace the master skeleton in case it gets destroyed, like it just did!
“As I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces. This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction as the creatures went. Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around.
“When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, and the wheels would rise along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. When the creatures moved, they also moved; when the creatures stood still, they also stood still; and when the creatures rose from the ground, the wheels rose along with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels…”
I find the commingling of Ezekiel and other interpretations of angels (many-winged seraphim, et al) with the Hindi and Aryan elements in this to be absolutely delicious.
The art is artful, but the things being represented are magnificently created as well!
Thought #1: How gratifying it is to see that Mathangi has far surpassed her Master in the art of Auntie-and-Niece Harmonization!
Thought #2: “Woe be he who mistakes the rider for the steed.” You splashed it in the alt.txt for all to see, you magnificent bastard, but I never suspected the truth. Of COURSE 6 Chain’s true form in here would be a terrible flaming wheel, ringed all about with eyes–he is, after all, an angel that cleaves to precedent.
Thought #3: “Really, 6JSStU? Do you really want to endanger the family and THREATEN THE WINE-JUG of the woman who just divided your exploding decoy body, using a sword that might not even technically *be?* Will you perform better now that you’re not burdened with *limbs?* Just go home.”

Maya seems like a sentimental creature. She’s protected harmless noodle vendors and random demons (admittedly, because she was enjoying her noodles), she seems more interested in discussing high wisdom/making a connection with Alison than with fighting her, and here she is protecting random children.
Hmm… Seems to me that the “mis-take” may have been halving the thorn armor instead of the wheel, if we are to believe that Juggernaut is the wheel. Also interesting to see that Angels are apparently not immune to the explosive energies released from other Angels ~ supposing of course that the Armor and Wheel were two seperate enties to begin with, and not a single entity inhabiting multiple vessels, like some a them other fellahs have said.
Difficult thing to coherently inhabit more than one vessel, believe you me!
Even in the darkest reaches of the void, he retains this ability to operate as a swarm of smaller, seemingly independent entities.
While he opted to keep the humanoid portion of his self unarmored, he kept the motorcycle parts sheathed in their shells. I wonder how many of the other thorns even know the extent of this power.
Soooo I’ve been reading this amazing comic for about 8 months now… I just now noticed that you have ALT-text on them….. time to reread the comic i suppose….not that that’s a bad thing.
Hold it, hold it. Was 6JSSU the skeleton AND the bike, or just the bike? Because we definitely saw them in the angel whatever place after being bisected.
We do not know- my personal guess is his essence inhabited both, though truly I cannot be certain and the humanoid form may have been simply a weapon of sorts.
He was both, which is a rare feat among angels, being divided so. This helps to explain why his number is so low. It makes it very hard to banish him to the void at all, which is needed to ‘kill’ him, and it lets him bring the bike to the void without losing its’ form. Do not mistake the rider for the steed.
Furthermore, the REST of his bike may, in fact, still be at the palace, which, while surely disorienting, may be a good thing for him, as it is therefore not in the vicinity of Mathangi ten Meti.
When you are such an angry being, you hit people with another. Sounds like a certain angel I heard of.
As some one new this world, and always seeking knowledge just who are you referring to?
Samu Elleljak Son
I did wonder if Juggernaut Star was not just one framed. His weapons and ride did seem… Angelic in nature.
I have seen others who have had weapons forged into their vessels but not many where the weapon is a vessel too
You are such a relatable author
>> If you thought I’d get rid of a character who’s literally
>> a skeleton riding a motorcycle you’d be dead wrong
You thought to Cage your bets?
(Nice stance, BTW)
It is considered a grave breach of etiquette to break a teacup on being surprised that tea can be used to douse even cold flames.
Alcohol issues vs Anger issues . Who will win?
An alliance, for the ages
for both in violence are sages.
I bet it’ll happen in the next few pages.
That was lovely. Thank you <3
If I were Juggy-kins I’d be rapidly rolling away right now to save myself from being bisected again.
And I guess this means some angels can divide their flame up into different vessels or did he transfer himself over when he exploded?
Maybe all of the bike and the skeleton riding it is him? But angels are reborn, anyhow.
Maya to the wheel: “Maybe you missed the part where I exploded your master.”
Jugs to minigendo: “Maybe you missed the part where I am an explosion from beyond reality contained inside a statue of a skeleton riding a motorcycle.
The worst mistake you could make would be letting me out.
I dunno, Maya traded a bruised eye for the most useful part of Jug’s body. I’m pretty confidant she came out on top of that endeavor.
You brilliant motherfucker.
Angels are notoriously durable and difficult to manage in combat, abrupt explosiveness nonwithstanding. They are like water. You can cut the cup holding the water, but given time the water will simply find another cup.
The riddle then is simple. How do you cut water?
The trick is to cool it down enough such that it freezes into flat sheets, and pray to Yisun that the ice doesn’t have enough fire in it that it restores itself to its natural state.
You are posing the wrong riddle.
How do you cut every cup in one swing?
At the molecular level.
You freeze it.
You must first make it ice, of course. Or, at the very least, bring two cups.
You use flame to scatter it. Something unwhole and scattered may only be known as fragments.
With a sword, and the will behind its cutting motion.
The sanctioned action is to Cut. An ordinary blade cannot divide water, but the blade of Want can divide anything.
Hitting it until it dies has always worked for me.
Results may vary.
How do you cut water? With ease.
Electrolysis?
and the shocking truth is thus revealed.
Collect the water, and sell it for a profit to a man dying of thirst, so to speak. There are many dangerous men in the myriad hells who would pay for good and healthy, uh, water.
There is no better disguise for the rider than the place of a steed, and no hiding-place better for a thing of burning pride than a lowly one.
Woe be to he, who confuses the rider for the steed
ROUND TWO BEGINS NOW, METHANGI/JUGGARNAUT BOWL GET HYPE
A worm is honored to receive such an angel in our own home.
You didn’t think you could kill the only man who could lift this wheel so easily did you?
Ah, so Jugg’s IS the Wheel.
Clever.
Hence, “Mistake”
Not a fortuitous time to awaken
That’s ingenious this fool should hollowed out weapon too maybe a spiked club! I wonder what else little surprises and toys my dear metatron gives out to his enforcers.
It looks as though 6 Juggernaut Star has some means of preserving his essence outside of the void after his corporal body has been destroyed. Or perhaps, the wheel itself is autonomous?
All the separate parts of his ashen armor house a part of the same essence.
While he is immortal, he can be banished to the void by destroying all of them.
Considering the consequences of destroying even one of these shells, even attempting this feat could be called a “MIS-TAKE”.
Or perhaps 6 Juggernaut Star has been the wheel all along.
Several of the tales of our world speak of angels that take the form of great winged wheels. Perhaps he is the inspiration.
“Wanna be pals?”
I’m confused now.
Are you preserving the character who is literally a skeleton riding a motorcycle, or a character who is literally a motorcycle riding a skeleton?
Mu.
Both the skeletons and the motorcycle are equally the vessel of 6JSSTU.
“Or”
Your answer is in the question: who SPOKE last?
And The Wheel keeps turning.
Oh my god is Juggernaut Star possessing that wheel? This is the content I showed up for
Juggernaut Star is not possessing that wheel. He is that wheel ALSO.
JUGGERNAUT LIVES
I wish I had the plot armour of being a skeleton riding a motorcycle.
I campaigned to elect him president, on the grounds that no country can fail, whose leader is made of motorcycles, skeletons and spikes.

A well-fought battle is never fought just once.
DO NOT MISTAKE THE RIDER FOR THE STEED
What happened to her sandals?????
She lost one sandal (left foot, see the previous page).
I think Thelolpatrol was referring to the young girl- Maya grabbed her so quick she got pulled right out of her shoes!
Blew her clean out of her shoes.
The Wheel of the Star versus the Maybe Swordswoman. Can the steed succeed where the rider has failed?
Woe betide him who mistakes the steed for the rider.
is he literally the WHEEL
brum brum
…
I should have seen this coming.
“Do not mistake the rider for the steed.” We were told this long ago.
I did not see this coming, and it is wonderful.
Ohhhh. Now I get it.
And though that Rider be cast down, his greathelm clove in twain, yet from the earth his Steed doth rise, and wracks his foes with pain.
It was the steed Maya cut in half, though.
Important to recall: the purpose of the steed is to bear the rider where the rider would find it inconvenient to travel alone.
Bear your fleas well, my lovelies, for life is fleeting; bad reviews are eternal.
Hansa and Prim, I think you have the right of it, stranger.
The eyes on the wheel remind me today of those of The Shape Shifting Master of Darkness.
It will sorely regret rolling over her jug of wine
I admire juggernaut Star for literally being one with its weapon
What if 6 Juggernaut Star is actually the wheels, and the humanoid Angel shape was the weapon…?
Not unlikely. I have seen it before. Look at some of the more angelic angels from when White Chain had been told of truths and first met Juggernaut Star. One had a wheel like head full of eyes above a lionine body. Two parts.

Do not mistake the rider for the steed.
Somehow I think that bit about the Rider and the Steed from the alt-text on 6 Juggernaut’s introduction may be relevant.
The circle, pure, infertile.
Fails to present logic in a vacuum,
but can still have great effect on application.
The wheels had also a size, and a height, and a dreadful appearance: and the whole body was full of eyes round about all the four.
– Ezekiel 1:18
If juggernaut star is smart, he’ll just call it a draw and roll out of there.
Big Wheel keep on turnin’
Juggernaut keep on burning’
Now Maya sounds like Tina Turner to me. Thanks a lot.
You’re welcome! 😀
Also, the stone in Meti’s forehead turned red? I wonder what that could mean. Will have to check if it’s happened before.
So the mount that rides the jockey awakens
No, don’t run over the wine
Ah, so you saw how quickly that blade came out!
YES

Ah, much better than my tiny little excerpt.
I find the commingling of Ezekiel and other interpretations of angels (many-winged seraphim, et al) with the Hindi and Aryan elements in this to be absolutely delicious.
The art is artful, but the things being represented are magnificently created as well!
Interestingly the angels mentioned in the verse above are referred to as Thrones.
The wheel is the appropriate form for an angel named Juggernaut.

ophanims always
run in circles
better be careful not to get a HRRRNia
Oh that is clever.
“Hrrrn. Softness.”
There was never one without the other. What more proof do we need that there was never more than one to begin with?
Rubber 2 looks great
And so she learned to care for the blade, and so did it shine.
I’m surprised how long she’s had that for then
Maya seems like a sentimental creature. She’s protected harmless noodle vendors and random demons (admittedly, because she was enjoying her noodles), she seems more interested in discussing high wisdom/making a connection with Alison than with fighting her, and here she is protecting random children.
I really do like her so far.

Wheels within wheels, as they say.
Juggy has split his essence into as many as 11 parts:
http://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/wielder-of-names-2-19/
Even in the darkest reaches of the void, he retains this ability to operate as a swarm of smaller, seemingly independent entities.
While he opted to keep the humanoid portion of his self unarmored, he kept the motorcycle parts sheathed in their shells. I wonder how many of the other thorns even know the extent of this power.
Doombots are so last season.
Then again, Star here does have a rather low number, so perhaps we ought to learn from him in this regard.
Never underestimate an Angel who is also a Motorcycle.
Woe be to he who mistakes the rider for the steed.
But if you kill off Maya I’m gonna be piiiiised. I liked this character WAY more than 6 Juggernaut
Soooo I’ve been reading this amazing comic for about 8 months now… I just now noticed that you have ALT-text on them….. time to reread the comic i suppose….not that that’s a bad thing.
I warned you at the time, brothers, not to white out the 6 until you saw the fate of the wheel of eyes.
I am pleased to see that 6 Juggernaut Star perdures yet. He may be a Thorn, but he is among the oldest and wisest of our kind.
When one cuts a wheel, can it still roll? Or does it rock?
Hold it, hold it. Was 6JSSU the skeleton AND the bike, or just the bike? Because we definitely saw them in the angel whatever place after being bisected.
We do not know- my personal guess is his essence inhabited both, though truly I cannot be certain and the humanoid form may have been simply a weapon of sorts.
I do hope we find out soon.
As a circle in a spiral. Like a wheel within a wheel. Never ending or beginning.
Pure.
Infertile.

Hmm… After takin’ a look back, it seems to me that that Juggernaut fellah really might probably is both the Wheels (plural) and the Armor.
That’s definitely one bad hombre’.
Oh man, Maya is my favourite character.
So happy when she was safe, and now I’m worried again.
