Abbadon has mentioned on his blog that pale devil liquor causes rapid bodily regeneration, with side effects including the regrowth of limbs you may not have actually lost. I wouldn’t be surprised if Charon had access to some stewed-up pale devil.
Mastermind and Bruiser. And a cat that is the master of all (of course; it is a cat). May they fare well and never need to cross paths with Heroes, Kings, Gods, or other variants of Royalty.
You say that Charon is greedy as if it were not the highest of virtues. I find him to be a respectable, if imperfect, example of the ideal of maximum profit with minimal effort. Cat Master as well is a figure I admire, for the cat is one of the most fickle and cunning creatures in all 777,777 worlds, and to gain the respect and love of such creatures shows impeccable character.
Ok, cat is fine. Cat Master a bit the worse for wear, but will be fine too.
Oscar is undoubtedly nursing a very large grudge somewhere. And there’s the other big red, Oscar’s “grandfather”, who apparently got left behind in the war. I suspect he won’t be happy either. This could lead to an interesting family reunion.
On the one hand, I have a hard time begrudging Lucky Felicia much because she got pretty fucked over by this adventure (The fact she’s lucky to even be alive notwithstanding, she’s LUCKY Felicia after all).
But part of me wishes she’d stuck around a little. At least to clean up and convalesce a bit.
108 Reaver Full Of Heresy Who Defies The Will of Fate
And Lo! Brother Maxwell! Did he finally ascend. Both the pit o’ gold and the ranks above his ken. Of his home, his God, his Vault, did he find naught but devastation. More gold had leaked out than ever once before, and the Count was so far off now that none could know its score. But there was still one job to do, nay, the only one he could. Brother Maxwell began to count the Bodies, as only a cleaner should. And as he began to Count, his own would dare to rise. For not all that he would find were dead, but as he tried to save them, his rank would rise instead. And so, Brother Maxwell, formerly of the lowest order, did find himself a higher status, as one who knew the Vault’s border. For there were always new acolytes, and for once, many places for them. And that, dear Listener, is the story of how
A Brother named Maxwell had honor found. For he had traversed a long, long way, and the Vault was very deep.
Anyone who’s studied basic economics knows that injecting a large amount of money into the economy like this (I mean relatively rapidly, not from blowing up buildings) tends to lead to rapid inflation and de-stabilize economic systems.
Just want you want in a city that’s descending into war and chaos, right?
Ahhh, they live. So, that wasn’t the end for Charon and (IA!) Cat Master. And Oscar, presumably. So I expect we’ll here of them again at some point.
By the way, I wonder, what is this bluish stuff which forms new arm and tail of our mastermind verdant devil?

In a world of thieves, the only crime is being mean to cats ^^
“Okay, I want to be very clear on this, Cio. Catmaster and his ferocious feline force all made it out alive and well?”
“…aye?”
“I hereby dub the mission an unqualified success”
They don’t call her lucky for nothin’!
AND ALL OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS LIVED!!
MAWH HAHAHAHA!!
Even Oscar, the one I hate to love and love to hate, might still come back. I win!
A successful heist.
Yes! The coolest devils yet live!
Well that makes good odds that oscar is running around still
Both cat and caretaker live.
All is right with the world.
I can’t be mad at Felicia for stealing everything, she earned it at this point for coming back in a hype ass way.
I deem this outcome acceptable.

YAY! The Cat Master lives. Also Charon, I know he’s greedy but I really like his design. Don’t know how I feel about Oscar possibly living though.

Ke-he-he-he
Felicia makes me remember Ralph Wolf ._.
Postwar German inflation has nothing on Throne!
“Hushlike”
I’m keeping that one.
Good for Felicia, well earned!
Frame 3 is gold (Tha was droolin’ and bleedin’).

Everyone I wanted to live, survived! Whoohoo!

Some of them appear to be… leaking.
It’s what she deserves. (Felicia, i mean.)

Thank you
In the end, it is revealed that Al-Yisun abdicated her position to the cat. As it should be.
