Cats save the day! Lucky Felicia seems much more comfortable with this life style than the cat. Cat had been thinking that formerly-dressed-as-a-cat woman might be cat’s new person, but cat is now reconsidering, fearing that life with formerly-dressed-as-a-cat woman would not be as peaceful as cat would like.
Cat wonders if, given how much f-d-a-a-c woman looks like Alison, if demon who snatched cat from the bullet’s path — thank you, demon! — would be so kind as to accept f-d-a-a-c woman and allow Alison to take cat back to her world, which seems much quieter than this. Cats if fed up with mercenaries and gods.
Surely as the Rising King Alison would have much tuna and catnip available. And cat has heard rumors of magical devices called laser pointers…
When putting together a rag-tag band of ne’er do-wells for a heist, regardless of whether you plan to treat them square or betray them, it’s always wise to do a little background research.
Of course, throw a lucky person into an infinite fractal dungeon dimension and they immediately pick, out of all the possible futures contained within that dimension, the one future in which they survive.
Complete in character aside here – We were playing D&D and one of the players who’s real life nickname is Chaotic Jack destroyed an NPC we just met who would have been very helpful.
We all began yelling at him, and our cat, who … well, you know cats … jumped up, ran across the room, and hit him so hard on the shoulder that her claws stuck in and she couldn’t pull them out.
That, and the gut wrenching nightmare of caliber worship – whatever they’re chambering I want one.

Still hope the Cat Master isn’t dead.

I just noticed that she has cat whiskers and all ^^
LACK KNIGHT: ‘Tis but a scratch.
ARTHUR: A scratch? Your arm’s off!
BLACK KNIGHT: No, it isn’t.
ARTHUR: Well, what’s that, then?
BLACK KNIGHT: I’ve had worse.
ARTHUR: You liar!
BLACK KNIGHT: Come on, you pansy!

Bad Man and Evil though he is, I shall miss Oscar.
I expect Lucky Felicia to pick up the slack. For a character I was glad to see get offed, she returns in a spectacular fashion.

Always double tap – anyone worth shooting is worth shooting twice…
And it reduces the chance that the shot person will show up in the future, wanting revenge.
