Over the course of many millenia, scientists from some of the more backward or unenlightened works have tried to devise new ways to proper ships through the void. Chemical rockets, electromagnetically charged ions, light sails, atomic fusion…various primitive methods have been proposed.
Yet few of them have ever stopped to consider the untapped potential of using unbound spawn of chaos as the main means of propulsion. I wonder why.
Uther "Chaos Angel", Least of Jagganoth's Foreservants
Excuse you, I come from one of those supposed backwaters. Some places don’t have all that many, okay? And there isn’t much travel through the portals. And we managed to colonize a nearby planet with that “primitive” stuff, so there!
Unfortunately I can be neither sure nor certain.
The irregular white lines that AL-YIS-UN emits on occasion, is it trembling or rising power?
I’m inclined to believe the former, but as I said earlier, surety and certainty are beyond my grasp.
I believe that our intrepid God-kinglet is trembling like a newborn lamb.
The reason is twofold: First, she has sustained her first serious wounding. Until you are used to the degraded state of your instantiation, such wounding tends to cause various effects, one of which is trembling.
The second and I suspect stronger reason is, Al-Yis-Un is being assertive, in a strange place, to people she would like to be her friends and allies. It is remarkably difficult to be domineering to those you like, and especially so if you are a virgin King, whose Royalty is yet but a mere developing nubbin. I suspect she is frankly shaking like a leaf because she is being mean to these people, and it is just gutting her to do it.
This reflects well upon her, if that is the case, both because she is proceeding anyway, and because it bothers her.
Also, is it just me, or does it look like Allison mysteriously teleported or something between the 1st and 3rd panels? In panel 1, Allison is sitting directly to Nyave’s left side, while in panel 3, Allison is sitting directly behind her, and it doesn’t look like she’s stood up, walked a couple steps, and then sat back down again, especially given how injured she is.
It’s especially obvious when you look at how White Chain is positioned relative to them; in both panels they form an “L” shape, but its polarity inverts between the panels, from a left-facing L to a right-facing L, and that can’t be done with just rotation. I mean, did White Chain just pick Allison up, carry her a couple steps, and then put her back down again?
Ciocie Cioelle Estrella Von Maximus the Third, you are in the presence of Royalty. Capricious, cutting Royalty.
A girl named Frye wore such a Jewel
overalls and bag of tools
I don’t know what she used as fuel.
Some makes deals with devils, Alison resorts to extortion.
Ingsvld is that you?
Princess seeks mischief it seems, and revels in the confusion of others!
“Coup.”
That says it all, really.
The art of cutting.
Princess’ smug smile in the penultimate panel is the best.
HA!
She is the true King and true Royality. Successors are not chosen, they take their role. Headless King made no mistake.

Big Angel killed the demonic car.
*ways to propel ships. This fool shouldn’t query the cosmos on a lack of sleep.

Those scissors are just getting more and more epic. Forget the sword!
Don’t be so tsundere, Cio.
And Cio’s book is like “What are you going to do with those scissors?” XD
The dreaded editor appears! She’s super effective against fan fiction!
Unfortunately I can be neither sure nor certain.

Trembling, almost certainly. Rising power is indicated by flames rising from the key.

I remain impressed.
1. Sticking with this name for a awhile, they were a fun little revolutionary.
2. That comment from Abbadon sounds fairly scandalous considering the results tonight.
3. Never has the title of this little scribble-show been more appropriate.

Hard to say what tickles me more: Nyave and her “perfectly normal” infernal machine, or Princess’s weapons-grade smug leer in panel 6.
A crafty queen, she is! Sharp in mind and blade!
Not nice to poke a book in the eye.
So what’s with the quivery arm?
It fulla holes.
‘s got holes in it
Why is this webcomic so good? I do not comprehend!
All the background expressions. All the little subtleties going on. I love everything about this page
The book returns?
Princess! Is there no honor among demons?
Also, book does not want scissors.
