For my part I hope this is all her: the white fire, lightning and glint of power on her brow are all there before she even touches Solomon. I suppose it could be cool if she took his key, but I don’t see that her new form or realised power needs to owe anything to him.

In that case, she WOULDN’T owe anything to Solomon David. They would simply be two individuals who both knew the same name of Royalty, and White Chain simply claimed an aspect of power of Yisun that she was already attuned with, likely long before Solomon David was even born.
As for her appearance, I think it’s possible she might remind him of his wife or daughters in some way, providing enough of a shock that his Ki Rata concentration is disrupted long enough for him to be defeated.
But, again, she’s always been portrayed as black when out of her shell. And this past book she’s repeatedly reminded everyone that “this is not my body”–and now she’s constructed a body that aligns with her mental image.

A lot of comments are pointing to White Chain’s corporeal form’s resemblance to Solomon and wondering about its implications, but I’m not entirely sure the “resemblance” is intended? To me she looks like a flesh and blood version of her angelic form. The most obvious similarity with Solomon is the color of her skin, but I’m pretty sure she was always supposed to be black, judging by her features and “hairstyle” when she is out of her stone shell. Of course, I could be wrong and there might be some relevance to the ways she looks, but I think it’s just how she envisions herself.

Hm. I’m not so sure about that. While it is true that White Chains’ angel form has the features related to black people, black skin comes in a multitude of shades. She is not just black like the emperor, she has the EXACT SAME skin color as him.
