Also, White Chain’s startled exhalation in the last panel makes me wonder how well she’s going to take to these new mortal sensations such as “breathing”. Gonna be shocking, at least at first.
And, by the way, cunning Abbadon lyied YISUNishly, I did not expect it to appear that early and actually showed up here accidentally, just to see that THERE IS AN UPDATE.
I literally understand nothing right now, but still astonishingly gorgeous, as always. And even, I might say…
Something to consider, his eyes are glowing with color up until the… snickersnack as it were. His eyes lose the light of his key/mana/power when she would have made contact. So I believe either she did something to him, or more likely, he saw her do something so exquisite that it resulted in both parties reeling in the aftermath of the attack.
Also, another thing to consider. Names you voice are reverberations in the air. They give others the idea of who and what you are. None but yourself can put that into solid form. None but the bearer of the name they believe in can give it shape and meaning. In this act alone, she has shown the world who and what she is, and they will know her name without even needing to hear it.
I am, perhaps, slightly skeptical. What made this battle significant was how White Chain went through with it in spite of having no real of hope of winning more than a moral victory, with every expectation of having to reincarnate. If the end result is she nevertheless lives, and wins a physical victory – especially a miraculous one – I cannot help but feel this undermines her original willingness to fight this battle in spite of the consequences.
She had no notion that her first act of *finally* throwing off her yoke and standing against the system she had been perpetuating would actually result in anything but her immediate and summary destruction, why would that undermine anything she’s done?
White Chan has drawn blood and now had gotten her wish.

Salami alwats glows like that when time is stopped. Just means time restarted and he stopped using funky martial arts.
